WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, développé par Yuke's et édité par THQ, est sorti le 10 novembre 2006 sur Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 et PlayStation Portable. Classé dans les genres sport et combat, le titre propose un nouveau système de contrôle analogique rendant les combats plus réalistes, un mode saison enrichi avec des histoires à embranchements et des choix de joueur, ainsi que des dizaines de points interactifs dans l'arène permettant d'utiliser l'environnement comme arme. Il intègre des combos à fort impact, des graphismes haute définition, des effectifs mis à jour pour Raw et SmackDown, un mode General Manager étendu et du multijoueur en ligne avec chat vocal. La durée de la campagne principale est estimée à dix heures et demie, contre cinquante-cinq heures pour une complétion intégrale, et la note agrégée s'élève à 76,06.
La presse a salué l'expérience, Play Magazine évoquant une douleur rarement aussi plaisante et Yahoo! qualifiant le jeu de monstre alliant puissance et agilité. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont exprimé leur enthousiasme pour le jeu, louant le travail de THQ, le schéma de couleurs ou encore le gameplay addictif et le mode histoire.

« This is another title I picked up on a nostalgic vibe and, just like me, the game is riding on the coattails of it's second instalment that appeared on the PlayStation. In reality this franchise failed to evolve in any way. I used to see wrestling games as the ultimate beat 'em ups during the PlayStation era but during the last two generations I believe the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise has evolved just enough to take that away from wrestling games. Overall a game that needed to be enjoyed on release by wrestling fans, otherwise a sack of **** entry in a dead gaming franchise. »
« While it's a shame that some characters are teased but not actually in the game the roster is great and the in ring action is fantastic. The create a character is fun and the story mode is different for each show. The customization of the locker room is a waste of cash you could spend on unlocking characters. »
