Little Bobby’s dead, the BBQ is on fire, Jen’s eating poisonous berries and the birthday cake still needs icing. It’s just another wonderful day out with the kids in Think of the Children, a frantic parenting simulator for up to four players.
Hauled before the court for bad parenting and endangering the lives of your children, the Prosecutors present a series of events as evidence that will either condemn or exonerate you: a birthday party at the park, a day at the zoo, a camping trip, an unexpected visit to the Australian Outback and more. Each of these locations proves to be far more dangerous than they sound, and even the tamest of environments are filled with deadly hazards.
Run solo, or team up with other parents to play through each trip in flashback to prove your parenting skills-and your innocence-to the judge, and avoid going to jail.

Multi-tasking mayhem
There’s never a dull moment when you’ve got the BBQ to tend, picnic tables to set, some of the kids are playing with a rabid dog, and two of them just ran out onto the road.
Parenting is hard
To get a good parenting grade and avoid jail time you’ll need to get all your tasks done, keep the kids happy, and–ideally–alive!
Nowhere is safe
The local park, the beach, the supermarket, the zoo. Great places for a day out with the kids. That is, aside from the poisonous berries, ravenous seagulls, towering grocery shelves and electrified pens.
All kinds of families welcome
Single parent? Two mums? A mum, two dads and a horse in a long distance relationship? It’s all good. Parent solo or co-operatively with up to four players.

Un excellent jeu en coop qui a une bonne durée de vie si on considère le nombre de niveaux qui sont disponibles. On peut également insister sur le fait que les éléments de personnalisation des personnages sont très nombreux, ce qui peut ajouter une n...

Game devs and players continue banding together to help the Australian bushfire crisis
Australia is still burning, but over the last couple of days they’ve actually had some rain! While this is a big help to certain areas, there are still 83 fires blazing around the country, and there’s a lot of people and wildlife still in trouble. It’s good job then that there are even more game devs, companies, and communities banding together to help out our friends down under. A new Humble Bundle, a donation from the makers of Warframe, and a charity initiative run by Eve Online players are just three more ways the games industry is raising money, and you can get involved to show your support too. The bundle includes 29 games in total including Hacknet, Hacknet Labyrinths, The Stillness of the Wind, Think of the Children and Framed Collection. Join us in aiding the relief efforts by purchasing the bundle here for $25. 100% of the profits from the bundle will go towards WIRES, RSPCA Australia, and the World Wildlife Fund. Many of these games were developed in Australia and, as an Australian publisher, the current crisis is very close to home and to our hearts. We hope our bushland and communities affected are able to recover soon. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/33025617/b4f1f4bd9431276106a59ed6bbe4c53c7218af9b.png

« If you have always wanted to prove your parenting skills once and for all, then, to a certain extent, Think of the Children lets you do just that. Just be aware that it only really works in cooperative form so single parents will need to call on the help of friends and family. Just like in real life. »
« It may sound stupid, but I actually noticed myself actually more aware afterward when kids are around and how their attention and curiosity can get them into trouble. I’m sure parents will enjoy this even more, even though it’s quite an exaggeration. What children do and how it can make you worry of judgment being made based on your parenting skills is an actual reality. If you really enjoy time management based games, this one will be a definite break from the more serious games in the genre. »
« Think of the Children’s main drawback is that it utterly lacks any form of balance as far as its difficulty is concerned. The problem this creates is that when playing solo, you’re required to fulfill seemingly impossible objectives through large quantities of frustrating multitasking. The game does indeed shine much brighter with other players helping out, but not quite enough to justify an easy recommendation. »
« Think of the Children is carried by how fun it can be with friends. The silly situations, crazy cosmetics and chuckle-worthy court dialogue are best enjoyed with others. But the flaws become overwhelming in single player where levels aren't balanced for the lack of players, leading to a lot of frustration to merely beat the game, much less be eligible to get the coveted A+ rankings. Local co-op only and lacking controls and mechanics are other reasons that make Think of the Children a niche recommendation to only those dying for couch co-op experiences because the game is a disaster for solo players. »

« There is a huge amount of humour present in a number of areas and the best thing is that the humour is actually very funny, which is great. I loved the presentation side of the game because both the visuals and sound design create a fun and at times very frantic experience. You can enjoy this game playing on your own and with friends but without a doubt the best way to play this game is with friends and family. The level design has a decent amount of variety present and the different tasks you have to do are very fun which means the gameplay stays fresh and interesting for longer. It can be fun playing on your own it is a lot more difficult playing this way and you do become frustrated more often than not. Some of the actions you have to do in the game feel a little clunky and awkward and a little more smoothness here would’ve been nice. It can get a little repetetive after a while so I recommend that you play the game in short bursts. There’s been many game’s that have tried their hand at humour and failed miserably but there are a few games that have got the humour spot on and without a doubt Think of the Children is a game that has got the humour spot on. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this game had me crying with laughter on a number of occasions and you’ll find yourself laughing lots of times when you play the game with friends. You can also play the game on your own as well and it can be fun played this way but I wouldn’t recommend that you play the game on your own because the difficulty is too much on your own and you just end up getting frustrated. I would also recommend that you play the game in short bursts as well because it can get repetetive but when played in short bursts the level design and tasks you can do will more than keep you satisfied. This then means that in the end Think of the Children gets a solid thumbs up from me because it has fun and enjoyment by the barrel load. »
