XboxAddict 72/100

« All in all, TOW is a good racing title that at higher difficulty settings, will present a challenge to the more experience cart-race gamer, and at the same time is accessible to the more casual player. »

X-ONE Magazine UK 50/100

« You can almost hear gamers exhale as they play. [Issue#42, p.112] »

GameSpot 50/100

« A lot of little flaws suck most of the fun out of this take on radio-controlled car racing. »

Official Xbox Magazine 45/100

« Remember racing RC cars around when you were a kid? Yeah...stick with the memories. [Feb 2009, p.85] »

games(TM) 40/100

« Things On Wheels is too pedestrian to catch on in the demanding Live Marketplace, and too frustrating to be fun. [Feb 2009, p.121] »

GameFocus 40/100

« It still has some elements that make it slightly enjoyable, but with the wealth of other experiences on XBLA, it's really hard to justify investing your hard earned Microsoft Points in a second hand toy. »

GamePro 40/100

« While many maps have some great design choices, Things on Wheels feels like a dated and out of place title that may have been more accepted in the earlier stages of Microsoft's Arcade platform. »

IGN 40/100

« Nothing about Things on Wheels is very good. The single-player mode is boring, the game looks like it was supposed to come out years ago (which it was), and the attempt at a story is poorly implemented and even more poorly written. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

bilbyc0m 7/10

« Things on Wheels is a very disappointing follow-up to the incredible 'Mad Tracks'. The game play engine feels too sensitive, slight turns can send your car moving too far over and your car tends to fly all over the place in some instances for no reason. Other than that, the racing mode is really all Things on Wheels has, it works well and there are now car stats to indicate what car is best for certain tracks. The tracks are very creative much like its predecessor however the powerups are not as creative and are used in AOE rather than target lock on, a move which really limits TOW potential. I really enjoyed Things on Wheels, but I don't ever see myself going back to it for local multiplayer when Mad Tracks does everything so much better. »

MegWhiteley 10/10

« Aww, this is one of the most pretty games that I play, Things on Wheels can be same that the other games of the genre, but the most special are the graphics and the cars, are beautiful, and the music, is funny, this game is not an epic master, but is incredible and funny. »
