The Blackout Club, développé et publié par Question, est sorti le 30 juillet 2019 sur PC (Microsoft Windows), PlayStation 4 et Xbox One. Il s'agit d'un jeu d'horreur en co-op et à la première personne où un groupe d'adolescents enquête sur de terrifiants événements ayant lieu sous la surface de leur petite ville. Chaque nuit, les habitants deviennent somnambules sans souvenir le lendemain, et certains jeunes, ne rencontrant aucune crédibilité auprès des adultes, forment le Blackout Club après la disparition d'une amie. De une à quatre personnes explorent des missions générées procéduralement dans un quartier moderne mêlant maisons, bois et tunnels souterrains, utilisant drones, crochets ou fléchettes tranquillisantes face à un ennemi, La Forme, que l'on ne peut voir qu'avec les yeux fermés. Le titre, construit avec Unreal Engine 4 et protégé par la DRM Steam sans mode hors ligne, est classé parmi les genres simulation, jeu de rôle et indépendant, et propose une personnalisation et une progression de personnage avec déblocage de compétences. Le temps de completion est estimé à sept heures pour l'histoire principale et quarante et une heures pour un parcours complet, pour un prix de 28,99 euros. Le score Metacritic s'élève à 63, l'OpenCritic à 70 et la note agrégée à 65,15. La presse a salué l'expérience comme un bon moment malgré quelques défauts, et certains joueurs sur Steam décrivent une ambiance horrifique axée sur l'infiltration et la coopération, appréciant y passer du temps.

« With a few small hiccups along the road that can probably be easily ironed out, and as long as you have patience in abundance, The Blackout Club is a good time. With never ending levels and missions to complete, and the interesting Stalker mode, the replay potential is sky high. If you have a small group of friends to play it with, it makes things that much better. Overall The Blackout Club offers a genuinely scary experience that is not only intense, but equally fun. Honestly, this is cooperative gameplay, with a dash of horror, at its absolute finest. »
