Star Wars Pinball VR, développé et édité par Zen Studios, est sorti le 29 avril 2021 et propose pour la première fois la licence Star Wars en réalité virtuelle. Le jeu comprend huit plateaux, dont un inspiré de The Mandalorian, et intègre un repaire de fan personnalisable, un mode immersion totale, des mini-jeux à 360 degrés, un mode carrière, des pouvoirs de la Force et un jukebox de la Cantina avec les musiques de John Williams. Disponible sur SteamVR, PlayStation VR, Meta Quest 2 et Oculus Quest, ce flipper de simulation et d'arcade utilise l'Unreal Engine 4 et est vendu au prix de 20,99 euros. La presse a salué l'expérience, PC Gamer évoquant un nouveau croyant au flipper VR et VRScout le décrivant comme l'un des meilleurs jeux Star Wars en VR, tandis que certains joueurs regrettent l'absence de support des manettes de mouvement hors Oculus Touch ou jugent le rendu graphique moyen.

« It has almost everything a Star Wars fan such as myself would want for long gaming sessions with a headset on. For $24.99 it is worth the money to play tables from the original trilogy and some of the other better television shows and movies as well. I highly recommend this title for any VR enthusiast or Star Wars fan. »

« Star Wars Pinball VR is easily the best VR pinball game around and probably one of the best Star Wars VR games as well. It’s evidently designed with fans in mind, but unless you just can’t stand Star Wars, the pinball itself and the sheer amount of ways to enjoy it makes the game more than worth your while. »

« This port is a joke. Lazy Quest port with NO motion controller support except the Oculus Touch controller. Pinball FX2 VR looks so much better and was released 2016. Just a slap in the face for pcvr owner. Cashgrab and the supposed fan cave is a joke. DO NOT BUY this game and support such lazyness. »
