Planetbase est un jeu de stratégie où vous guidez un groupe de colons de l'espace qui tentent de s'installer sur une planète reculée.
Vous y jouez l'architecte et le superviseur de la base, indiquant à vos colons où construire les structures dont ils ont besoin pour survivre. Vous devrez faire en sorte qu'ils soient alimentés en oxygène, en nourriture et en eau en permanence pour rester en vie.
Vous les enverrez générer de l'énergie, extraire de l'eau et du minerai, faire pousser et cultiver de la nourriture, fabriquer des robots et construire une base autonome.
Bien que le jeu ne soit pas conçu comme une simulation, tous les mécanismes sont crédibles et basés sur les obstacles que l'on pourrait s'attendre de rencontrer en établissant une colonie sur une nouvelle planète.
Caractéristiques :
Quatre planètes aux conditions différentes et à la difficulté croissante.
Utilisez l'énergie du soleil et du vent (s'il y en a) pour alimenter vos structures en électricité.
Faites pousser des légumes en hydroponie et produisez de la viande in vitro pour nourrir votre population.
Extrayez et produisez des ressources brutes, transformez-les, fabriquez des marchandises et mettez en place une chaîne de production.
Gérez en détail le flux d'immigration des colons pour vous assurer d'accueillir ceux dont les compétences vous seront utiles.
Réchappez aux catastrophes telles que les chutes de météorites, les tempêtes de sable ou les éruptions solaires et défendez votre base contre les intrus.
Mécanisez votre base en fabricant vos propres robots qui vous aideront avec les tâches les plus difficiles.
Développez votre colonie d'un petit groupe de pionniers à une base planétaire peuplée de centaines de colons.

Planetbase 2 - Dev Update 07
Hello Everyone!Welcome to dev update 07! (see previous updates 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06)We are ramping up production to finish all 3D art, we hope to do this before the end of the summer, which will give us a few months to test and tweak gameplay.In this update we are highlighting the new Guards, Mine and Nuclear Facility New GuardsThis is the new Planetbase 2 security team, that will handle misbehaving colonists and visitors, ensuring a safe and productive colony environment.They will be able to surveil the base, arrest people and, worst case scenario, use their weapons to neutralize criminals.New MineHere your colonists will be able to mine a variety of different ores, like Iron, Silicates, Aluminum, Uranium, Thorium and more.This time around you will be able to transport ores from the mine using vehicles.Nuclear FacilityThis is a new interior structure that has components that are used to produce Nuclear Fuel and Nuclear Reactors in order to power the colony. This avoids having to import critical components and makes the colony more self-sufficient.CentrifugeThis is a component that creates Nuclear Fuel from Uranium.Thorium ProcessorOnce you have the required techs, you will be able make Nuclear Fuel from Thorium instead, which is more abundant and easier to handle. Nuclear ContainerThis is a purpose built container for nuclear materials like Uranium, Thorium and Nuclear Fuel.Nuclear Core BuilderThis is a massive machine where you can build Nuclear Reactor Cores, that can then be used to build your own Nuclear Reactors instead of having to import them into the colony.What's NextWe are working on a few different things, including Robots and Drones, which we will hope to show in the next update.We can't wait to share the game with everyone, thank you for your support!Martiño.
Planetbase 2 - Rocket Fuel Dev Update
Hello Everyone!Welcome to the Rocket Fuel and Landing Pad dev update (see previous updates 01, 02, 03, 04, 05)We are now getting to the exciting point in the development where we are adding the most interesting features to the game.This time around we've been focusing on the landing infrastructure and propellant manufacturing side of things. This is a completely new feature in Planetbase 2.Landing Pad attachmentsThe Landing Pad will feature several attachments, unlocked as you progress in the game, that improve it's functionality.Basic Pad: Only small Colonist and Visitor Ships can land. Resource Storage: Allows Trade Ships to land. Propellant Storage: Allows refueling of ships. This increases ship capacity and lowers trade prices. Tower: Enables large ships to land.Methalox RefineryThis is a structure that combines Oxygen and Carbon from the Martian CO2 atmosphere, with Oxygen and Hydrogen from Water (H2O) to produce Rocket Fuel. On planets with no atmosphere the production chain will be different.TankerThis new vehicle can carry Rocket Fuel between the Refinery and the Landing Pad in order to refuel ships. Propellant TankThis structure comes in 3 different sizes, and can store Propellant previously created in the Refinery, for future use.Industrial ConsoleThis is a Control Center component, where your engineers can monitor the Methalox Refinery and other external production structures.What's Next?We are now working on the various Bots and Drones, there will be some old friends from Planetbase 1 coming back and some new additions too.You can wishlist if you want, and let us know what you think in the forums.Martiño.
Planetbase 2 - Dev Update 05
Hello Everyone,Welcome to a new Planetbase 2 dev update (see previous updates 01, 02, 03, 04)A ton of new features this time around, development is progressing at a good speed, the first few hours of the game are already fully playable.New CoversWe've been adding more detail to the structure exteriors, to make them more interesting and different from each other, we've added new cover textures, and new props like skylights, tanks and other details.Algae FarmHere you will be able to grow algae to feed your colonists. This will be one of the many sources of food in the game like vegetables, insects or vitromeat.Toilets and Treatment PlantThis will be new mechanic in Planetbase 2: colonists will use the toilets, where they will "produce" Organic Waste, that you can then process in the Treatment Plant, to make it into Fertilizer, that you can then use to grow plants in the Bio-Dome.Fusion ReactorThis completes the full array of power generation structures in the game, this is on top of Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Geothermal Plant and the Nuclear Reactor.BarThis is the place for the colonists to relax after a hard day of work. The new Bar has some new additions as well like Sofas, Decorative Lamps and Neon Signs. LabThe Lab is making a comeback, but with 3 new research components: Medical Research Station, Biological Research Station and Astrophysical Research station. Here your colonists can perform basic research, which can be used to generate development for new upgrades, or commercial research which generates credits. And what's next?We are working on more new features:Propellant Manufacturing: Produce, store and use Rocket Fuel.Trade: New improved trade mechanics.Automotive Plant: Build your own vehicles.Nuclear Refining Facility: Refine raw minerals into nuclear fuel.And a lot more! « Planetbase is a nice change of pace from the usual building simulators as the space environment brings up new challenges. Trying to make sure your colonists have enough of everything to keep them alive, and balancing this with fending off potential hazards and trying to earn yourself some money at the same time, is a genuinely fun challenge. »

« Once you learn how to build a self-sustaining colony, there’s a lot to do, but you simply have to remember not to do it too fast or you’ll expand too quickly and will suffer for it later on. There’s nothing like being well on your way to expanding, only to have a meteor destroy your oxygen tank or other life support system. Planetbase starts out incredibly infuriating but becomes really enjoyable after you make it over the steep learning curve. If you’re looking for a colonization simulator that controls well on console, look no further than Planetbase. »
« Planetbase proved an addictive little time waster for around five to 10 hours before I realized that there wasn't really much more to it than what I'd experienced in the first few hours...The game could have done with more dynamism and perhaps more customization, there are only three vanity buildings available, and the "upgrades" you get amount to color swaps and larger models, which gives it an unfortunate sense of grind. »

The slow pace of expansion can make it a relaxing game to play, but when those frustrations creep in it wipes out any chance of relaxing. In a world where Cities: Skylines exists as such an excellent city-builder on Xbox One, Planetbase suffers in comparison. Going from landing party to self-sufficiency to thriving extra-terrestrial metropolis is a pleasing arc, but at times the game conspires against your efforts to play it. »
« Planetbase is a space simulator where players have to lead a group of space settlers who are trying to form a base on an isolated planet. It is a complex proposal where players must manage different type of resources to have success. There are 29 structures which user can build to use the different resources with the help of 4 types of settlers and 3 robot units, facing all the difficulties off each of the 4 environments that Planetbase have. It's a different way to become a Pathfinder, something that fans of this genre will appreciate. »

« I cant help it, i love this game. Why? Because when you start playing this game its a hard survival in the beginning. You will need to figure out how to survive. The planets and moons really feel hostile like it should be. I would like to see more buildings though amd the pirates could be a bit annoying. I hope planetbase 2 add some more late game mecanics like luxoury goods because the late game is relativly easy. But its very addictive. If you like a collonise game with really hostile planets this game is for you. The price is also very good for this game. Ive played the pc and ps4 version, both a very good. »
« I used to have this game, Planetbase Digital Edition on Xbox, until Xbox banned my whole gamertag 15+ year old account with over $10k in digital games, movies, tv series, dlc all for something I posted in a GAME REVIEW yet they cant quote me as to what exactly I said and respond to my BBB complaint with "we have no obligation to provide evidence" when I violate their fragile "TOS". The multi-billion dollar business has no obligation to provide valid evidence for something so permanent as a PERMAMENT SUSPENSION FROM ACCESSING ANY OF YOUR PAID FOR CONTENT ON THEIR SYSTEM?!?! The thing **** CANT leave any real hateful comments and cuss words in reviews or XBOX doesn't even even save them, just blanks it out like you didn't type anything at all. Also I would've never said anything that warrants this kind of permament suspension, at worst I was talking crap on EAs Sims 4 predatory gaming practices of cutting a main game up and selling it to you in 20-$40 "game & expansion packs". So the suspension is complete BS, groups of circle jerks can get together and report something you typed as offensive and it auto-bans you and some lame gamer on a power-trip volunteering for their "ambassador" program (more circle jerks with fragile egos) reviews the ban and appeal. Boycott Xbox, they don't deserve your money with their "woke" parenting of even the lamest of things like GAME REVIEWS. I literally cant even sign into my account to access offline content, its ALL GONE thanks to an Abusive system MS lets auto-handle, the first miss steps of "AI". Buyers BEWARE. »

« TBH, I think this is a game that requires a certain type of player. First and foremost, you need to crave a challenge. Too many people fail a few times and give up on a game. A good example of this is Dark Souls... either you love it or you quit before the first boss. If you love Dark Souls and also love strategy games, you'll love this game. Patience is also absolutely required. If you build quickly, you're toast. Another thing... manage your landing permissions very carefully. Good luck! »
