TheSixthAxis 90/100

« SnowRunner is a game thoroughly, single-mindedly, in love with the open road. It just happens that it’s the kind of love that’s bred by getting that road so thoroughly under your nails, you occasionally have to wonder whether it’s actually hate. Care, attention and time will show that SnowRunner is a passion project worth putting the extra mile in for. »

Games.cz 90/100

« SnowRunner sets the bar for other similar simulators. It’s much better than its predecessors, there are hundreds of hours of content, the game looks great and it boasts the most satisfying vehicle physics of all time. »

CD-Action 90/100

« A true Assassin’s Creed Odyssey of driving games. There’s always something to do, something to discover. A huge game and loads of fun for everyone (that enjoys driving very, very slowly, that is). [07/2020, p.52] »

Finger Guns 90/100

« It’s not an easy game, per se, but then it never claimed to be. Once you get your head around the time and patience aspect, SnowRunner is going to engross you. It won’t win any Game of the Year awards for being niche, but then neither does Train Simulator. If you can convince some friends to join you, then even better. But even as a solo experience, there’s some absolute joy to be had when you get stuck into it. »

PlayStation Universe 85/100

« Simultaneously a big leap over the MudRunner titles and a compelling effort in its own right, SnowRunner's improved focus on the hard fought conflict between man, machine and nature results in a highly rewarding and satisfying driving simulator that is quite unlike anything else. »

Everyeye.it 84/100

« We were literally ecstatic with the way the wheels deform the muddy ground, or the resistance of the water when trying to wade deep puddles or streams with a medium unsuitable for this task. »

The Games Machine 83/100

« SnowRunner is a dirty game with spotless physics. A truck-sized open world, tiring, slow yet extremely adrenaline-fueled work simulation. Maybe sometimes too tiring, but capable of giving enormous satisfaction. »

Multiplayer.it 83/100

« A chapter that improves the formula and opens the series to more users. »

« Snowrunner is a game that is very good at what it does, but it definitely won't appeal to everyone. It's presents the challenge of conquering terrain under often what feels like impossible odds. The game has you hauling heavy cargo across mud, snow, and frozen lakes and repairing local infrastructure. The game also features dedicated rescue missions where you will need to track down stranded vehicles across harsh environments, repair them, and tow them back to safety. Sometimes you end up having to rescue your own vehicles with other vehicles.. lol, sometimes more than one. It's especially satisfying when you unlock some really powerful vehicles that make terrain you found almost impossible to pass easier to navigate. That said just like Dark Souls getting stronger can lead to getting cocky and overconfident which often ends up in a fail. Pride comes before a fall and the terrain can take out even the toughest vehicles. When I first started playing it, I didn't enjoy it that much, the game is a slow burn and getting stuck just put me off. But I liked handling the vehicles, the beautiful (though treacherous) terrain and the challenge so I stuck with it. Many times I got frustrated with the game and deleted it swearing to never touch it again only to reinstall it, determined to get the better of a situation. The elation of finally succeeding is strong with this one. It's the game I have uninstalled and reinstalled most often, probably about 20 or more times in total. It's gameplay structure is repetitive but conquering terrain never get old and there is now a large variety of maps/terrain and vehicles to unlock and use thanks to DLC. The vehicle and terrain physics are realistic and really good. Not everyone will like this game, but it can definitely grow on someone who likes handling powerful offroad vehicles, exploring and conquering landscapes and / or a challenge. »

« I played the original Spintires Game and Mudrunner since the beginning and for me Snowrunner is a mixed bag. While the graphis are a huge step forwards, the physics became more arcade to make this game more appealing for casual players. »

« Engine noise is horrible and repetitive, vehicles fall over easily and gameplay is horrible compared to Mudrunner, other than that it's a good game.... »

« it's perfect, perfect, down to the last detail i love this game becaus its one of the most hardest but also most relexing game ive ever played »

« Totally unrealistic. Artificial difficulty beyond all limits. I'm sure it gets better later, thanks to vehicles unlocking throughout the career... but the first ten hours are a drawing of a mad dev! Just an example: a world full of mud/snow, where a truck can't have -because money- mud/snow tires.. and a few centimeters of mud/snow block tons of moving trucks, as if they were tons of liquid cement! What is this, if not a bad joke? /// Hate. Unistall. Zero metacritic. »

Birhat007 10/10

« that’s best co-op game i’ve ever played with my friend’s i spend so many hours on it thank you snow runner . »

Thorsir 9/10

« This game would have benefited from a wildlife of animals that players can spot, while trucking trough a beautiful landscape. Maybe an old lady working on these pumpkin gardens in Taymyr, Russia or an old farmer reading a newspaper at a gasstation. A character customization is also lacking. Besides that the main focus is on trucks and off road vehicles to maneuver trough harsh terrain and doing various kinds of tasks to help out locals in remote places like Alaska and Michigan as well as Taymyr Russia. The ambient guitar playing in the backround makes hard work very relaxing. This game makes you want more after completing the main game and fortunately there are plenty of expansions. Great game and a must play for all Sim enthusiasts. »
