Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice, développé par Bigbig Studios et édité par Sony Computer Entertainment, est sorti le 15 août 2023 sur PlayStation 4 et PlayStation 5. Suite du premier Pursuit Force, ce titre mêle les genres du jeu de tir et de la course en alternant phases de conduite et de tir, le joueur ayant pour tâche de maintenir la sécurité de Capital City face à cinq gangs impitoyables et bien équipés.
Le temps de jeu indiqué pour l'histoire principale s'élève à 6½ heures, tandis qu'une approche complétionniste demanderait environ 13½ heures.
Concernant l'accueil critique, VideoGamer a exprimé l'avis que Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice figure parmi les meilleurs jeux PSP qu'il ait joués. De son côté, Playstation: The Official Magazine (US) a souligné en février 2008 que les missions offraient davantage de variété par rapport à l'original, tout en rappelant que ce dernier restait l'un de ses jeux PSP de référence. Du côté des joueurs, un avis publié sur Metacritic a simplement averti de la présence de spoilers, tandis qu'un autre joueur s'est plaint de la difficulté perçue comme trop élevée pour franchir la première mission même en mode facile.

« Un juego maravilloso muy bueno y es simplemente original osea en q otro juego te da lo mismo q te ofrece este ninguno es original con una historia buena y bien escrito con un soundtrack hermoso e epicidad por dónde quiera q vayas y los puntos suben porque estos son de los poco casos en el q el segundo juego es mejor q el primero y ese juego es lo peor q juge no entiendo porque el primero tiene más puntos si ese es un dolor de buebos le pongo 9 porque al final del juego se pasaron el nivel de dificultad sube demasiado y te jode bastante »
« One of the hidden golden gems of the old, dusty and forgotten PSP. I made the mistake of trading it in for Juiced 2: HIN and regretted it ever since. It was action packed and had a really good story, and even if the screenshots don't look so pretty, once in action this game looks absolutely stunning. A must buy for the PSP. »
