F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is the sequel to F.E.A.R. and continues the series' trademark blend of supernatural horror and suspense. Many mechanics from the original first-person shooter have made their way into the game, like slow motion bullet time, and intelligent AI. New gameplay elements have also been introduced, like grab and drag movable cover, combat mechs, and iron sight aiming. The environments are now more open and less linear than those in the first game, and are also more diverse.
Histoire (IGDB)
You are Michael Becket, a Delta Force operator who has been sent on a mission to arrest Armacham president Genevieve Aristide approximately 30 minutes before the ending of the first game. The story only takes the original game into account and ignores all events from the expansion packs Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate.

Utilisez tous les éléments du flipper comme couverts. Les différents étages et l’ambiance sonore, tout est prêt pour le carnage ! Cockroach : Dans un hôpital louche taché de sang, l’action est à son apogée. Escaladez des câbles électriques ou encore des boites de pilules. Recess : Devenez le roi des châteaux de sable ou conducteur de bulldozer ! Ou bien jouez-la commando et planquez vous parmi les petits soldats !

Note : 8/10 F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin réussit ce mélange assez rare entre FPS nerveux et horreur psychologique oppressante. Le jeu te balance dans des fusillades explosives une minute, puis t’oblige à avancer lentement dans un couloir silencieux...
L'ambiance de ce jeu est tellement épique. J'y ai joué au Xbox360 dans le temps, j'y rejoue en ce moment et wow, toujours aussi hot! C'est sûr que les graphiques datent... mais l'ambiance... WOW!!

Humble WB Bundle offering Batman and F.E.A.R. games for African hunger charity

« Прошел FEAR 2 на пк (2009). Первый FEAR был очень знаковой игрой своего времени, несмотря на то что коммерчески был не очень успешен, и я бы сказал, что в наше время таких игр вообще не делают. Жанр синглплеерных мясных шутанов существует только в рамках бумер шутеров, а вот чтобы кто-то взялся сделать шутан с современной графикой искусственным интеллектом и прочим, это совсем уже пропало (калду я отказываюсь считать таковой). Второй FEAR ощущается полным продолжением первой практически во всём, и я бы не казал что это плюс. Меня, как хейтера игр подобных layers of fear, невероятно раздражали страшилки из первой части и во второй их стало только больше, а содержание их стало душнее, полный отстой. Игру часто критикуют за коридорность и это так и есть, какая бы локация по сеттингу не была это все равно будет серый коридор, или подвал, в лучшем случае дадут немного постреляться на улице разрушенного города. Геймплей однако хороший, стрельба очень доставляющая, искусственный интеллект все также пытается тебя обходить рашить и прочее, однозначно плюс. Есть сегменты внутри меха, мне они не понравились. Графика эффекты и анимации, как мне показалось, нереальный топ, даже сейчас выглядит очень достойно, текстурки прям высшего качества на момент 2009 года (хоть я и не Ваномас, чтобы на них наяривать). Однако, игра не очень разнообразная, может поэтому её недооценивают. Многие хейтят второй FEAR, но я бы сказал, что игра достойная в целом - 6.5/10. »
