One Finger Death Punch 2, développé et publié par Silver Dollar Games, est sorti le 15 avril 2019 sur PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch et Xbox One. Ce jeu de type arcade, combat, indépendant et hack 'n' slash met en scène le retour du « world's fastest brawler », un combat de style kung-fu au rythme frénétique où le joueur, encerclé et en infériorité numérique, utilise toute arme à portée de main pour neutraliser ses adversaires. Fidèle au premier opus, le titre repose sur une mécanique à deux boutons (attaque à gauche, attaque à droite) que les développeurs disent avoir peaufinée pendant cinq ans, avec mille animations disponibles et vingt-six compétences déblocables contrôlées par le joueur. Le jeu, construit sous Unity, affiche par conception l'absence de scénario et se veut jouable par courtes sessions en tant que palette cleanser entre d'autres titres, proposant plus de 400 niveaux, 26 compétences et 4 tours de survie infinie. La durée de parcours de l'histoire principale est estimée à 10 heures et demie, et le complet à 26 heures.
L'accueil critique a été favorable, avec un score Metacritic de 83 et un OpenCritic de 84. La presse a salué l'expérience : Quarter to Three a ainsi écrit qu'il n'y avait jamais eu de jeu de combat tel que celui-ci et que l'on n'est jamais aussi Jackie Chan ou John Wick que dans ce titre, tandis que Screen Rant a qualifié le brawler de plein de cœur, d'humour et d'une profondeur et quantité de contenu étonnantes pour son prix relativement bas. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic relèvent que le titre est dans la continuité du premier avec ses deux boutons et s'avère un jeu rapide à prendre, d'autres jugeant sur Steam le prix plein justifié malgré la répétitivité grâce au contenu proposé. One Finger Death Punch 2 est commercialisé au prix de 6,59 euros.
