Nintendo Land, développé par Nintendo et le Nintendo EAD Software Development Group No.2 puis édité par Nintendo, a été lancé sur Wii U le 18 novembre 2012. Conçu comme un parc d'attractions virtuel et animé, le jeu propose des attractions inspirées de mondes Nintendo connus, que l'on explore avec son personnage Mii sur la place de Nintendo Land. Les attractions exploitent les possibilités de la manette Wii U GamePad et offrent des modes coopératifs, compétitifs ou en solo pour jusqu'à cinq joueurs. Le titre se décline à travers divers genres tels que le jeu de tir, la course, l'aventure, l'arcade, le puzzle et la plateforme.
Le jeu bénéficie d'une note agrégée de 75,14. La presse a notamment salué la facilité d'accès aux parties, comme l'a écrit Nintendojo : « Nintendo Land's strongest selling point, though, is just how easy it is to jump right into these games. » L'Official Nintendo Magazine UK a de son côté qualifié l'expérience d'excellent jeu de lancement et de marqueur pour la suite, affirmant : « Matching experimentation with (almost) consistently brilliant gameplay, this is as much a marker for what's to come as it is a truly excellent launch game. » Certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont également exprimé leur satisfaction, l'un louant un titre adapté à tous les âges et utilisant bien le GamePad au travers de graphismes et d'attractions amusantes (« Adatto a tutte le eta' e sfrutta al meglio le funzionalita' del game pad ! Grafiche buone e attrazioni divertenti! »), un autre évoquant de bons moments passés avec des amis notamment sur les mini-jeux Zelda ou Metroid (« Viel Spaß mit meinen Freunden früher gehabt. Tolle Minispiele besonders das von Zelda oder Metroid. »). Pour ce qui est de la durée, le parcours de l'histoire principale est estimé à 10,5 heures et une expérience complétiste approche les 51 heures.

When you have enough coins, you can play a minigame that puts decorations in the plaza if you win. I also must praise the colorful graphics and the charm. Potentially one of the best games on the Wii U. »

« I love Nintendo games, especially Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda, my favorites are Mario Kart, Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild. I also enjoy playing Horizon, Crystal Fruits Deluxe, Fire'n Diamonds, and Midas Dynasty by Tom Horn, which I play mainly because I follow DiceGirl Egle expert slot streamer. Anyway, while I save up to buy Super Mario Party Jamboree, I'll be playing Pokémon Go. ;) »
