NHL 07
NHL 07, jeu de simulation sportive de hockey sur glace développé par EA Canada et EA Montreal puis publié par EA Sports, est sorti le 12 septembre 2006 en tant que successeur de NHL 06. Le titre propose des fonctionnalités de jeu plus réalistes, notamment au niveau du maniement de la crosse et de la variété des configurations de contrôle, et il est disponible sur Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox et PlayStation Portable. La version Xbox 360 se distingue par un moteur de jeu et graphique entièrement remanié par rapport à son prédécesseur, les autres versions conservant l'ancien moteur. Il s'agit du seul opus de la série à avoir eu une version PSP, du dernier paru sur Xbox et du premier sur Xbox 360. La presse a salué la qualité de l'expérience, PGNx Media écrivant qu'il s'agit du meilleur jeu de hockey disponible en termes de jouabilité, d'image et de son, et GamePro jugeant que le système Skills Stick en fait un jeu différent et à la hauteur de la nouvelle NHL, tandis que certains joueurs, en le replaçant dans son contexte de sortie, se souviennent d'un titre amusant à jouer malgré la comparaison défavorable avec les opus plus récents. L'ensemble affiche une note moyenne agrégée de 69,39.

« Since this game obviously is horrible compared to the newer games, I will review this for the time it came out. It was a fun game and I found myself playing it a lot. It was a turning point for the better games, and it doesn't really offer a lot. It's O.K. but far from great. »
