Mortal Kombat II
Mortal Kombat II est un portage piraté du jeu Mortal Kombat, développé et publié par Yoko Soft, une entité également connue sous le nom de Cony Soft, et commercialisé sur Family Computer le 31 décembre 1994. Il ne doit pas être confondu avec un autre Mortal Kombat II réalisé par Hummer Team. Classé dans le genre combat, ce titre propose une durée de parcours principal d'environ deux heures et un temps de complétion estimé à quatorze heures. La presse a salué certaines versions du jeu sous ce nom, GameSpot évoquant un titre attendu pour jouer en ligne et IGN jugeant que l'opus restait l'un des meilleurs jeux de combat d'arcade presque quinze ans plus tard grâce notamment au jeu en ligne. Des joueurs sur Metacritic y voient un classique absolu de la baston ayant défini l'identité de la série, tandis que d'autres regrettent des ajouts comme les Friendship et Babality, jugés peu intéressants et assortis de conditions absurdes.

« Очень спорное продолжение. Сделали просто всего больше, изменив то, что не нужно было трогать. Friendship и Babality - не интересны, да ещё и с дурацкими условиями их выполнения. Fatality стало в 2 раза больше, но многие похожи и не изобретательны. Для Stage Fatality зачем-то усложнили комбинацию, сделав отдельную для всех персов. Боевая система осталась такой же примитивной. Это самый красивый файтинг на тот момент, но разница с оригиналом минимальна. Кароч тащит только визуал и жестокость. В детстве мне 2ая часть надоедала практически так же быстро, как и 1ая. +самый красивый файтинг на тот момент +в 2 раза больше всего-примитивная боёвка -бешеный ИИ -никакая музыка -режет слух одинаковая озвучка разных персов »
