Monster Truck Madness
Monster Truck Madness

« Manages to capture the full-realism of 3D driving on a handheld device without having to make the graphics small and jagged. »
« To be perfectly honest, this is one of the best looking Game Boy Advance games on the market...[and] one of the best arcade style racers on the Game Boy Advance. »
« While extremely short and lacking multiplayer, Monster Truck Madness is gorgeous and still provides a fun racing experience. »
« Fans of the bigger versions of Monster Truck Madness will find almost everything they need in this impressive handheld version. [Fall 2003, p.48] »
« The real problem with Monster Truck Madness is that it's strictly a single-player experience. »
« Visuals are definitely the strength of the game. Controls and audio would fight for second place. Variety, unfortunately, is last. »
« A quality racing title. The lack of statistics and multiplayer mode is a shame, absolutely, but the design's core is important as well, and the racing action is definitely well produced on the limited Game Boy Advance hardware. »
« The excellent 3-D driving engine for THQ's Monster Truck Madness offers a smooth frame rate and a genuine feeling of speed. [Sept 2003, p.138] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Would you believe me if I said there was an actual Monster Truck game on GBA that's actually good? You probably wouldn't. I say that because there are two other Monster Truck games on the GBA. One is slightly below average and the other one is absolute filth in a cart. However, this one is the hidden gem of the three Monster Truck games. You've got great graphics for the GBA, pretty lenient difficulty and an announcer whose possibly way too much into monster truck races. Anyway, the AI in this game is pretty easy, even in the later races. It takes a decent amount of time to beat this game, like 4-5 hours. However, it is a great time no matter how much time you put in. Give this game a go. »
