Microsoft Flight Simulator
Microsoft Flight Simulator

« Microsoft Flight Simulator is a once-in-a-generation technical showpiece that will change how you look at flight sim games forever. »
« This stunningly gorgeous, remarkably detailed sim is a triumph for both expert players and flight rookies. »
« There is nothing out there like Microsoft Flight Simulator. It delivers the entire world in unrivaled quality, combined with pinpoint precise controls and realism at a level that is unmatched. If you want a taste of the sky, this game is virtual perfection, and if you are learning to fly in the real world, nothing will reinforce what you’ve already learned more than Microsoft Flight Simulator. »
« Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game that you have to play to understand just how incredible of an experience it is. It's an incomparable adventure that consistently surprises and delights. The game provides you with all the tools necessary to conquer the unthinkable task of flying the plane. Asobo has laid an incredible platform that will provide hours upon hours of joy for both casual gamers and flight experts alike, and it's only upwards from here. »
« The miracle of flight is something to savour, no matter your seat. Microsoft Flight Simulator not only captures that feeling, it manages to put the entire world in your hands. »
« Microsoft Flight Simulator is legitimately incredible. It's difficult to fully describe how amazing it feels to jump into a plane and have the freedom fly to and from literally any place in the entire world. The base game's 20 included aircraft feel like more than enough for even hardcore aviation enthusiasts, and the ability to adjust the assists to tailor the experience to whatever skill level you desire makes it suitable for anyone looking to fly the friendly skies from the comfort of their home. The real-world mapping data, however, takes Microsoft Flight Simulator from being just an impressive game to the most awe-inspiring simulation I've ever experienced, in spite of its less than stellar load times. Seeing famous landmarks, landing at the world's most recognizable airports, or just touching down in a remote landing strip in South America is mind-bogglingly cool and an absolutely unparalleled way to virtually explore our world. »
« Developer Asobo Studio says Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is a ten-year project with many additions to come. That makes sense, as it’s a brilliant base package with so very much to love that I can still see myself returning to for years. For me, the casual, it’s a perfect low-stakes, relaxing gaming experience. It’s a technical achievement and an excellent training aid, but it’s also a brilliant piece of escapism, transcending its purpose as a tool to become something far more widely enjoyable – and I can’t recommend it enough. »
« Microsoft Flight Simulator is a marvelous use of technology to create one of the most wonderful and spectacular looking games I've ever played. Never a proponent of realism, it simply works here thanks to thousands of handcrafted buildings, as well as certain exceptionally detailed cities, planes and airports, giving you something that is a sheer joy to explore. This attention to detail expands to the controls of the planes, though Asobo ensured it's accessible through easy to use Xbox controller functions. Once you're past the learning curve and the full functions of the planes are at your disposal, there's little that can be said other than this as close to perfect as could be hoped. There are some very slight issues, such as long loading times - expected due to what is being loaded - but every square inch of the Earth is accessible and it's always worth the wait, particularly thanks to the number of options at your disposal. There's no doubt in my mind that this will be a platform that will last long into the future. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« The aviation simulation genre has long been regarded as a niche market within the gaming industry. This is because it has been difficult to gain mainstream popularity due to complex control systems and high barriers to entry. However, Microsoft Flight Simulator transcended these limitations of the genre, capturing the attention of gamers and aviation enthusiasts worldwide through its overwhelming scale—which recreates the real Earth almost exactly—and its outstanding visual quality. Nevertheless, this title has several limitations that prevent it from receiving unconditional praise, and it requires a critical **** first aspect to mention is its technical achievement. Microsoft Flight Simulator utilized satellite data, AI-based terrain generation technology, and real-time weather information to transform virtually the entire Earth into a flyable space. Users can fly over their own homes or visit famous airports and cities around the world. This offers an experience akin to a digital globe, going beyond a simple game, and can be considered a prime example of the pinnacle of modern simulation technology. However, this technical achievement simultaneously creates the problem of high hardware dependency. From its initial release, Microsoft Flight Simulator has been known as a title that demands high CPU and GPU performance. Users without high-end PCs are highly likely to experience frame rate drops and long loading times, and performance issues become even more pronounced in large cities or complex airports. Despite continuous optimization improvements, it is still difficult to consider this a highly accessible game.Gameplay is also highly polarizing. Due to the nature of the aviation simulation genre, players must perform flights ranging from tens of minutes to several hours, which can feel very tedious to users accustomed to combat or competition-focused games. While the process of recreating actual aircraft operation procedures enhances realism, it simultaneously acts as a factor limiting mass appeal. Ultimately, this game is closer to a specialized simulator for users with specific tastes than a work for everyone.Another issue is the ambiguous position it occupies between realism and gameplay. Users seeking a professional simulator may feel that the system implementation for some aircraft is not sufficiently deep, whereas for general users, it remains overly complex. Consequently, the design attempting to satisfy both sides sometimes causes the game's identity to become blurred.Online features are also not perfect. While real-time traffic and multiplayer features enhance immersion, there have been reports of data loading delays or inaccurate terrain rendering depending on server status. In particular, the significant disparity in experience based on internet connection quality can be seen as a structural limitation of games relying on cloud-based technology.Nevertheless, the value of Microsoft Flight Simulator is undeniable. While many games focus on creating virtual worlds, this title makes the real world itself an object of exploration. Users do not merely play a game; they travel the globe through flight, experience the principles of aviation, and view the world from a new perspective. Such an experience is difficult to find in other games. »
« Dziś wyszła aktualizacja. Znowu grę wywala do pulpitu. Nie da się w to grać. Asobo Studio weźcie się do do roboty a nie wypuszczacie g#### »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« Скукота. Чисто для фанатов летчиков причем настоящих. А для обычных игроков ещё и баги имеются по типу автопилота на ускорении,где твой самолет может сделать сальто из-за непонятного физического состояния. »
« This simulator is a perfect, 1:1 scale of the entire world as we know it. All airports, and even airstrips that aren't federally registered are included to the fullest, even being able to depart and embark to and from them. The engine scale is also accurate to real life. Not only are the plane speeds accurate, but there are even real-time weather events. »
« Looks good but my PC can't handle the game since it's very demanding. Overall pretty cool! »
« Good game but I have no idea how it got a 91. It's fun, it's relaxing, that's really all you're going to get out of it. The planes are way too expensive, like seriously I can get the whole Hitman series for cheaper than yet another Boeing. Also, as someone who has experience wasting said money, don't buy ANYTHING from Mscenery, even if it looks good. »
« Ok, so let's start with things i like on it: 1. Graphics-the best grapics i have ever sawin a comp. game all Now what i don't like: 1. Comparing this to X-Plane 11 the physics are insanely bad 2. The autopilot is very unrealistic 3. The ATC wold rather make you crash than land 4. It has so many bugs (for example the sometimes it just puts your thrust in idle, turns off electrical systems or just puts full flaps when you don't wan't them) 5. You need to buy anoter like 100 addons and another 100 mods to make it at least a little realistic. 6. Three airliners without addons is a very poor choice 7. Addons are maybe realistic, but they are more expensive than the entire game 8. Airports don't even have the right parking stands So please, if you want this game, first of all try it at comp. of someone, who alredy has it. If you don't know anybody like that than trust me and go buy X-Plane. »
