Little Nightmares
Little Nightmares, développé par Tarsier Studios et édité par Bandai Namco Entertainment, est un jeu d'aventure et de plateforme réflexion disponible depuis le 28 avril 2017 sur PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One et Google Stadia. Le joueur incarne Six, une enfant affamée et vêtue d'un imperméable, prisonnière d'un vaisseau sous-marin de métal nommé l'Antre, peuplé d'adultes déformés et dangereux. Pour tenter de s'échapper en un seul morceau, il convient d'explorer des environnements oppressants, de résoudre des énigmes, de se faufiler dans des passages trop étroits pour les adultes et d'éviter les résidents en restant discret ou en les distrayant, la fuite devenant parfois l'unique option. L'histoire révèle progressivement la nature sombre de l'Antre et le cycle de prédation qui lie ses habitants, les actes de Six découlant de sa faim et de son désespoir. Une Enhanced Edition propose le titre en 4K et 60 FPS avec des optimisations visuelles telles que le ray tracing, l'éclairage volumétrique et des effets d'eau, tandis qu'une édition spéciale inclut le passe d'extension Secrets of The Maw. La presse a salué un conte sombre et magnifique, Eurogamer Italy évoquant une aventure effrayante et belle dans un monde étrange, et Let's Play Video Games louant son design atmosphérique et son récit terrifiant. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic décrivent un univers angoissant et hypnotisant, regrettant toutefois un gameplay parfois limité, tandis que d'autres sur Steam expriment leur inconfort avec la difficulté des pièges en dépit de l'atmosphère malicieuse du titre. Le jeu affiche un score Metacritic de 81 et un prix de 19,99 euros.

« This was the first horror game that I ever beat. It might be nostalgia but I still remember most of the game and throughly enjoying it while being scared of all the big monsters compared to you.
