Imperium Romanum, développé par Haemimont Games et édité par SouthPeak Interactive, Kalypso Media Digital et FX Interactive, est sorti le 22 février 2008 sur PC (Microsoft Windows). Ce jeu de simulation, de stratégie et de stratégie en temps réel place le joueur dans la peau du gouverneur d'une province de l'Empire romain, chargé de bâtir une cité prospère et organisée, et fait suite à Glory of the Roman Empire. D'une durée principale d'environ vingt-cinq heures et demie, il requiert près de quarante-cinq heures et demie pour une exploration complète, et affiche une note agrégée de 64,98. Cheat Code Central a salué sa valeur de rejeu à travers différents modes et scénarios, tandis que d'autres retours, comme ceux de Pelit ou d'un joueur sur Metacritic, ne livrent pas d'appréciation exploitable.
