Le jeu a été créé par le développeur polonais Łukasz Piskorz et est sorti en 2020 sur PC. Il est décrit comme un « jeu court à propos de filles démons bien habillées ».

Helltaker's Anniversary Update!

Some people said my game was too hard, so I made all the action sequences skippable. However, you still need to win in the old-fashioned way if you want them sweet achievements. Updated the artbook to feature concepts from the new chapter and Beel stream sprites. The update is featuring some sweet new music from Mittsies. If you haven't already, buy the Helltaker OST on Mittsies' bandcamp to support the musician! New tracks are already added in. Just go play the update and let me know how horrible it was. Happy anniversary everyone!

Helltaker OST is nominated for the Best Soundtrack of 2020 Steam Award. A big thank you to everyone who voted to nominate, you made this possible! It makes me very happy to see Mittsies' music appreciated on this level. Regardless of whoever wins the award in the end, this is a glorious success! What more I can say? You can buy the Helltaker's OST on bandcamp if you want to directly support the artist responsible for those sweet tracks. Stay tuned for our future shenanigans. И да, меня спрашивали про мою вайфу - я смело скажу, что я не могу выбрать между королевой (или повелительницей) ада и цербером ведь это трилоляка!!! « The plot, of course, is purely for show, just to be there, but since I love the theme of monster-girls - this is a separate like from me. But seriously, for a free game, it's a well done job. And the art-stile, and the puzzles, and the ability to skip "for the most impatient". They are good too. A little nervous last episode, but it is not very difficult. But the episodes of the extra chapter, in which you had to run from lasers against the clock(not steps counter) - I would not call the merit of the game. The first few were interesting for me, but the last one stood out from the rest of the fun game by being too demanding of a reaction. However, this is an EXTRA level, right? In the end, if this is a free game, or was for a dollar - definitely yes. If it cost a little more - I would advise you to think about whether this is really what you need. »
