Hard Reset Redux Discount Program – Ends Wednesday November 23rd, 9AM PT

As some of you may have noticed, the discount program has been causing issues. Due to the nature of how digital store discounts now work, no single discount can be separated and they all stack. This has made Hard Reset Redux unpurchaseable for anyone who was eligible for the loyalty discount on numerous occasions in the past, which has led to some confusion. We have strived to fix these issues whenever they have reared their head. Unfortunately for these types of custom discounts, we cannot make any corrections or adjustments ourselves, as it requires a manual override on the distribution partner’s end and falls outside of the standard distribution agreement. Due to this need for manual overrides, our distribution partners have officially requested that we end the loyalty discount program in order to ensure that it does not continue to interfere with the game’s distribution. Because of this, the discount program will now end on Wednesday November 23rd, at 9AM PT. So please make sure to purchase Hard Reset Redux before then, should you be interested in receiving the 85% discount. To summarize, here’s how the discount program works: Owners of any version Hard Reset receive an 85% discount on Hard Reset Redux: All owners of any digital version of the original Hard Reset will receive an 85% discount on Hard Reset Redux. This discount is already in effect, and will last until Wednesday November 23rd, at 9AM PT. You don’t have to do anything: This discount will show up automatically when you purchase Hard Reset Redux, so you don’t have to do anything to get as long as you’ve purchased some version of Hard Reset in the past with the same Steam Account that you’re using to purchase Hard Reset Redux. It works for Shadow Warrior Fans too!: All owners of Flying Wild Hog’s epic rebirth of Shadow Warrior (2013) will also receive this discount, and everything above applies to them as well. We apologize for any confusion that the discount program may have caused, and we hope that everyone enjoys their time with Hard Reset Redux.

Avis des critiques et joueurs

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

PC PowerPlay 90/100

« A challenging, rewarding and sublime homage to the early days of the first-person shooter - with a few modern twists. [Dec 2011, p.58] »

Multiplayer.it 84/100

« Hard Reset is a great game, a hardcore FPS that brings to the table some very nice ideas and tests your skills level after level. The gunplay works very well, with a huge sense of impact and a great number of different enemies to fight, and the graphics prove indie games can even compete with high budget titles. »

Destructoid 80/100

« Hard Reset is truly a great experience, especially for fans of titles such as Painkiller and Serious Sam. Its devotion to distilled, pure, videogame violence is something that deserves respect, and the fact it's performed so sleekly and satisfyingly is a fantastic surprise. With Hard Reset, an excellent sense of level design and game balance has been married to a ruthless difficulty and voraciously furious combat to create something that tests the nerves and addicts the mind. »

GameSpy 80/100

« The gameplay is tight and punchy, and the overall experience is so well-crafted that it's worth soaking up every last insane moment. »

GamesRadar+ 80/100

« Its most impressive feat, though, is that it throws down the gauntlet and laughs in the face of every competing developer. We're still trying to wrap our mind around this as an indie game, because, in terms of quality, it's on the same level as any AAA shooter out there. »

Machinima 80/100

« A few technical hiccups here and there, a super-short campaign, and an almost nonexistent story weren't enough to hinder my enjoyment of Hard Reset. »

Gamereactor Sweden 80/100

« If you are looking for a touching story, this probably isn't what you're looking for. But if you want to let go of depth and instead enjoy some trigger happy action, this is one of the funniest indie titles right now. »

Eurogamer Italy 80/100

« Hard Reset is an old school FPS, a game where speed is everything. Flying Wild Hog first game takes the player into a realistic sci-fi world, giving the feeling that perhaps the evolution of this genre is not really an evolution. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

mutantleg 8/10

« clearly a lot of work went into this game, into the graphics, the world and characters - and is full of clever ideas and very stylish.. but the detail porn is simply overwhelming: I cannot see a damned thing o_o »

MzK 1/10

« Çıktığı yıla göre bile eski kalmış bir yapım bence. Vakit kaybıydı benim için. »

Dco326 7/10

« Bila mi je bas laka, dosta stvari su mogli bolje d aurade tipa story itd... ali brate kraj je... neocekivan bukvzadnji boss je jako slab i lagano sam presao i eto... jbg umesto 8-9 pade na 7 »

The_D4RknesS 8/10

« In love with the game! It's amazing, it has an immersive soundtrack, great scenery destruction, perfect physics, "blood" when you kill the robots and the best... What I liked the most when you kill a robot EVERY PIECE SPREAD STAYS ON THE GROUND AND DOESN'T disappear from nowhere. If this game has a little problem, it's the amount of robots that appear at once in a way that there are so many and you don't know what to do »

DJ_Kaas 3/10

« This cyborg Major Fletcher protagonist can only sprint for 2 seconds (You can't jump while sprinting) and the shotgun is bad, the spread is even worse than the one from Doom 3, at least in that game you could hit something that was further than 5 meters away. In this game the pellets simply disappear after a few meters, like WTF was they thinking with the shotgun, such a lost opportunity. Lots of invisible walls like on rails at stairs, so no smart movement/parkour. You can't even crouch and you have no flashlight. There is no reason to hide behind cover, it's like the game wants you to be agile, but at the same time you can barely outrun lasers, rockets and hitcan weapons with the sluggish movement, you just have to bite your pillow and take the damage from behind. For knowing what weapon you are actually using, you better learn to know it from looking at your crosshair, at a glance you have no idea if you are holding a machine gun, grenade launcher, rocket launcher and proximity mines or plasma rifle, mortar and railgun, it could have been some nice origami-guns, but it mostly barrels and tubes changing position or a plasma orb changing it's size »

Tabbou 5/10
