Gyakuten Saiban 2

Jolt Online Gaming UK 92/100

« The story is deep and well thought out, the script at times dark, at times humorous, but always entertaining. »

1UP 90/100

« Invested Phoenix fans get five well-written, twist-filled cases to end a trilogy that unquestionably deserves a seat right next to titans like Maniac Mansion and the Space Quest series. Just make sure you play the first two Ace Attorneys first -- this is one courtroom you shouldn't enter unprepared. »

Adventure Gamers 90/100

« This is by far the deepest, darkest game in the series, yet the superb writing means that it will also be the funniest you'll encounter. »

NintendoWorldReport 90/100

« While Capcom is known for milking its franchises, Trials and Tribulations is not a mindless sequel. You'll cheer. You'll boo. You might even yell, "Objection!" The first entry is still the best, at least in English, but the final Phoenix Wright game definitely surpasses the second. »

Pocket Gamer UK 90/100

« The third game in the much-loved lawyer-sim series makes a watertight case for classic status. »

Zentendo 90/100

« The story is phenomenal, the music is some of the best, and it leaves Phoenix Wright and friends off on a spectacular note. »

Cubed3 90/100

« The Ace Attorney series has got increasingly better with each entry and the conclusion to the Phoenix Wright trilogy ties all plot threads together so seamlessly it makes this a must-have for those who became engrossed with the first two. »

Games Master UK 89/100

« The best Ace Attorney game by miles - just play 1 & 2 first! [May 2008, p.89] »

« Is it accurate to the legal justice system? No. Is it insanely charming and fun? Absolutely. »

JJJAGUAR 10/10

« Best story on any video game ever. Banger OST, great characters (Godot is a hell of a character). »

Andres66 10/10

« This is my favorite game of all time, this is the definition of how to close a trilogy correctly, it closes every arc of every single character introduced in the first two games, the cases are really solid, even though case 3 is a little let down , but still not bad it has its moments, the last case is still the best in the whole series even after playing the rest of the games, please do yourself a favor and play this, you should probably play the Ace Attorney trilogy since it has upgraded sprites and it is completely necessary to have played both the first game and justice for all, Thank me later! »

Juudaii 10/10

« Que gran franquicia, la verdad me la pasé muy bien pasándome la trilogía original »

theguumaster 10/10

« this game made me cry tears of joy when it ended, one of the best games ever in my opinion. but you need to play 1 and 2 first to get the best experience. the cases are really solid, and i love godot as a prosecutor. 10/10 »

eefeef 9/10

« As a conclusion to the trilogy, it's absolutely brilliant. The combination of great new characters and the buildup of characters from the first and second installments masks the clumsiness of the scenario. »
