« Esse foi o primeiro jogo da franquia Far Cry que eu joguei e posso dizer que é um dos melhores disparado, o jogo é bom, bonito, bem feito e muito realista, ele tem mecânicas que os outros games da franquia não possuem e esse fator faz com que ele seja diferente, o game trás uma história pesada e cheia, traição e dramas, como nosso personagem estar com uma doença terminal e ter que passar o jogo trabalhando por remédios que ameniza a dor e sofrimento, eu acho que esse game é simplesmente uma obra de arte, mas não joguem a versão de 360 por que ela é horrível, joguem as mais recentes. »

« The African world and theme is what kept me hooked otherwise the game started to feel very repetitive and boring in the second half as it became a "drive to a place, kill some stupid enemies and complete a petty mission while surving the annoying malaria". Still I feel some elements were very good, like gun mechanics, driving, BGM and the flora and fauna... »

« Whilst this game improved in the graphics, storyline and controls, there were many things that made this fall flat on its face (otherwise it would have been a much more refined and a better experience). The map/minimap set up is a loada cobblers, rather than have binoculars you have a monocular (which you have to swirl around all around you in a hapless manner just to makr enemies or points of interest). And we have a grumpy git who is contstantly moaning in your ear (whther its good news or bad) thus diminishing your morale boost. Sometimes the enemies are so tough, you would think they are absorbing bullets into their spongy bodies. A very dislikabel game to be honest, when I was expecting a complete overhaul comapred to the 1st disaster I played, i.e. Farcry 1 and its spoin-offs. »

« Very fun game, but extremly repetitive. The first 4 hours are a blast, but after that the game its basically doing the same thing for other 8+ hours, so if you enjoy gameplay/gunplay like me its a good game, if not, could be a very boring game for you. »

Es un simulador de supervivencia en la guerra africana, donde la naturaleza y los mercenarios te hacen sentir como un verdadero soldado abandonado a su suerte. Lo bueno: Realismo brutal: Nada de regeneración mágica de vida, aquí te arrancas balas con tenazas y te curas con animaciones detalladas. Fuego revolucionario: El sistema de propagación del fuego es mejor que en muchos juegos modernos. ¡Puedes prenderle fuego a un campamento entero y ver cómo las llamas se esparcen! IA despiadada: No son bots tontos. Te persiguen, te flanquean y no se quedan quietos esperando su muerte como en shooters casuales. Inmersión total: No hay marcadores mágicos ni GPS guiado. Tienes que usar un mapa real y una brújula para navegar. Historia sutil, pero realista: No necesitas un villano edgy gritándote en la cara. Aquí la historia la escribes tú con tus decisiones y tu lucha por sobrevivir. Lo malo (para los casuales): No es un paseo por el parque. Si esperas un shooter fácil con flechas guiadas y regeneración de vida, este juego no es para ti. Las armas se atascan y se desgastan… como en la vida real. No esperes que tu AK-47 oxidada funcione como un rifle de Call of Duty. No hay un villano con monólogos de 10 minutos. La guerra es el verdadero enemigo aquí. En resumen:Este juego no es para todos. Si buscas un shooter genérico con historia sobreexplicada, ve a jugar Far Cry 3 o Call of Duty. Pero si quieres sentir la crudeza de una guerra en la selva, con mecánicas avanzadas y un nivel de inmersión incomparable, Far Cry 2 es tu juego. Veredicto final: 10/10. »
