Background
Originally conceived while a student, Fail Fail Succeed grew from feelings of being stuck in a cycle of manic highs and depressive lows. The mechanics were designed as metaphors for those struggles: failure as an inevitable outcome, but traces of progress being left behind. In a bleak world of exhausting repetition, small comforts in the companionship of a loyal pup often became a guiding light.
Fail Fail Succeed is developed by a single developer. What began as a small weekend project, slowly grew after positive feedback, was further developed for Gotland Game Conference and Swedish Game Awards, and is now finally coming to Steam for everyone to play!

Hotfix 1.1.2 portal 2 completion and QOL laser speed
Fixes Portal 2 should now complete as intended and level 2:8 should always appear. A slider to adjust the laser animation speed has been added to the graphics settings. This should help prevent eye strain in dark settings. Further feedback on this is always welcome!
PATCH 1.1.0
while delayed by sickness and uncommonly hard to figure out bugs, it's finally here...PATCH 1.1.0I am glad to finally bring you hints and several bug fixes!I am sorry for the delay, but one bug in particular turned out to be much more of a struggle than anticipated, and I fell ill for a little bit which partially put me out of action...Changes:Several tweaks to several levels. Almost all of them include shifting the level 1 tile to make more room for navigation, making it less awkward to move through the puzzles.Lobby has been shifted a couple of tiles to the left, in order to prevent cheesing when trying to reach a bonus level. The gap at the bottom of bonus level 3 has been patched up, as to prevent a (clever) cheesing strategy.UI prompts should now appear to all players. This was a major one that likely turned a lot of people off... All interaction prompts and initial tutorial prompts were not showing up for some users. While it took a while for me to be notified of this, I am still glad most of you looked past it! Example below: HINTS! You can now find a "toggle hints" button in the pause menu. If you're really stuck, this will show you the rough location of where you need to place blocks to progress.
