Impulsegamer 100/100

« College Football 2026 is sport gaming perfection, a marriage made in heaven on the PS5 Pro. Amazingly, EA improved in every way on an already outstanding title. »

GamesRadar+ 90/100

« Our best sports game of last year remains the one to beat in 2025, too. College Football 26 is the most detailed, authentic, and fun sim on consoles right now, and will keep you playing – and recruiting! – right through to next summer. »

Hardcore Gamer 90/100

« Everything that sold everyone on College Football 25 is bigger and better in College Football 26. The game simply can't be put down and the game modes are more encompassing than they were last year. Road to Glory will have you making multiple characters and Dynasty Mode will have you hooked on the updated aspects with recruiting and crossplay with your friends online. 300 coaches, multiple playbooks, 136 teams and the updated Team Builder with a better online process makes College Football 26 an unprecedented experience. The elephant in the room is the physics-based gameplay as the extremely upbeat and snappy gameplay from last year takes a slight dip in favor of more realism and that's truly felt. Bugs that weren't nearly this apparent last year are here at launch. The physics-based gameplay starts to shift the franchise towards Madden, and a big selling point to many on this series is that it isn't Madden. In the end, however, there's an impeccable College Football replication in EA Sports College Football 26. »

ComicBook 90/100

« There’s nothing particularly glaring about the game, but it does have a few blemishes. It is undoubtedly a step up from CFB 25 and a must-play game for college football fans, for no other reason than hearing “Enter Sandman” blast through your speakers at a night game against Virginia Tech is essentially a religious experience. »

Game Informer 85/100

« College Football 26 didn’t throw out the playbook from its first year back, but it didn’t need to. Instead, iterative improvements and quality-of-life adjustments build upon an already strong foundation. Like my Dynasty team, EA Sports’ newest series is quickly amassing prestige as one of the best sports franchises today, and College Football 26 only helps its case. »

COGconnected 85/100

« College Football 26 is a triumphant, if imperfect, return to the gridiron. It successfully captures the spirit, passion, and strategic depth that make college football the beloved institution it is. The core gameplay is fantastic, and the immersive Dynasty Mode provides hundreds of hours of rewarding team-building. While marred by repetitive commentary and a smattering of intrusive bugs, the foundation here is rock-solid. For fans of college football, it’s an essential purchase. It’s still not a flawless champion just yet, but its potential to build a long-lasting dynasty is undeniable. »

Forbes 85/100

« EA College Football 26 won’t be judged as softly as last year’s game because fans aren’t simply fired up to have college football back. That said, EA’s dev team hasn’t rested on its success, and they’ve delivered a strong follow-up with noteworthy improvements. The issues are mostly out of the dev’s hands and based on the handling of legends or legalities that limit in-game customization. »

PSX Brasil 85/100

« EA Sports College Football 26 is a nice evolution of last year's already excellent title, adding even more quality to the gameplay and spectacle off the field to continue being one of the best sports titles today. »

« I mean seriously at this point whoever these critics on ea sports games are have to be questioned integrity wise because there is absolutely no way they played this game for any real amount of time and rated it 80+ out of 100 College Football 25 wasn't spectacular but my god College Football 26 somehow manages to be 10 times worse literally just a copy paste without the nostalgia or historical context that College Football 25 benefited from there's literally nothing to see here you could continue to play College Football 25 you are missing absolutely nothing but an opportunity to waste your hard earned money by purchasing College Football 26 »

« Can have a steep price, but the overall scale and traditions represented for each respective college will always provide plenty of enjoyment. Unfortunately, the game is held back by the opposing team's AI making extremely stupid decisions and the occasional glitch. »

« Game is completely scripted. Don't believe me? Play a game where nothing is going rright, quit, then play again. Kickoffs fielded at the 5 get stopped at the 19. When the game decides it wants you to lose, you lose. Game is trash for the same price every year. Can't wait for the same thing next year for the same price with the same issues. »

« Very dissapointed so far. My favorite mode in the CFB 25 was solo battles in CUT. I was dissapointed to see that this mode was removed. The new Study Hall mode just seems like a needlessly simplified and less customizable version of solo battles. In solo battles I could set the difficulty depending on my mood in the moment, if I just wanted to relax and ram my players into the opposing teams defense on a low difficulty, that was an option and a fun one for me, but if I wanted to play a more serious game and actually use my brain, that was too! In CFB26 I feel locked into “trying”, which I understand may be, and likely is, what most players enjoy, still, I don’t see the reason to limit my ability to not try if that’s what my heart desires. It’s also obnoxious that I have to pay to keep playing the mode? So if I don’t have coins I have to buy them from the shop. Obnoxious. I also don’t enjoy the new progression, it feels incredibly slow compared to CFB25. I am not earning nearly as many packs in 26 as I would In CFB 25 (which was itself less than madden 24) Its hard not to feel like the reason for this is just a desire to encourage paying for packs. What makes me really dislike this game is the fact that I “earned” a premium only **** is obnoxious that I should have to pay to have an even comparable level of progression to CFB 25 I know this is not the only game to do this, but at least when I “earn” a premium reward in fortnite it’s straightforward, and the games main form of monetization, not to mention fortnite is free. EA expects me to not only pay $70 for the game, but then to spend money on a premium pass every season to earn packs where I MIGHT get a player I want, and then also buy more packs on top of that.I want to play a football game, not gamble, I have never spent a cent on packs or passes, and I never will. All this has done is remove any desire I had to play this game. I’m sure I’m just beating a dead horse, but i’m really dissapointed and sad, I was looking forward to this game, but now it’s ruined for me. »

« Despite promising improvements (realistically adding back features removed from NCAA 14) EA continues to disappoint. Mediocre pass blocking as always, coupled with zone breaking down the moment a qb scrambles. You'd think they would attempt to make it remotely realistic being a "football simulator," but all they cater to is the neck beard crowd who continues to piss money on UT. Shame on EA for producing such slop, still makes 14 look like a gem. Hopefully another company gets the rights to produce an alternative, because EA having exclusivity and producing garbage is getting frustrating. »

« This game is genuinely a waste of my money, I was so excited for all the new stuff to come out for it still to be very disappointed, 25 is so much better. This game is a joke and bare minimum, there needs to be another cfb that makes them actually try on the next one. If you’re wondering if you should get CFB 26 for yourself or somebody else I recommend just keep on playing CFB 25 because I call this game a waste of my money every time I play it, the only mode I can play is dynasty and I don’t even play the games anymore. **** a joke. Waste of my time and money »

« EA Sports FC 26 arrived with the promise of evolution, but in practice, it falls far short — especially for those who already played FC 25. The overall feeling is that this is just a minimal annual update, with very few real changes and an overemphasis on surface-level **** gameplay remains almost identical to last year’s, with only a few minor adjustments that don’t significantly impact the experience. There’s no real revolution in passing, shooting, or player movement systems. The result feels more like an expansion of FC 25 rather than a true new **** graphics are also disappointing. While there’s a slight improvement in lighting and some details in kits and stadiums, the visual leap is barely noticeable, especially considering we’re in the current console generation. Many players still have generic facial expressions and repetitive animations — something EA had promised to fix but didn’t deliver **** Ultimate Team, EA once again focused heavily on microtransactions, adding a few small updates to the card system and seasonal events, but failing to address long-standing issues like unbalanced matchmaking and the strong “pay-to-win” feel. Meanwhile, Career Mode and Clubs received such minor changes that they feel purely cosmetic, lacking any meaningful new **** short, EAFC 26 doesn’t justify the full price of a new game. It feels much more like “FC 25.5”, with a new skin and a handful of additions. For those who already own FC 25, the upgrade isn’t worth it — unless you’re a die-hard fan or simply want updated rosters.Pros:Updated rosters and a few new licenses.Slight improvements in ball physics and movement. Some small quality-of-life additions to Ultimate Team events.Cons:Very few gameplay changes.Stagnant graphics, underwhelming for the current generation.Career Mode and Clubs are almost identical to last year.Heavy focus on microtransactions in Ultimate Team.Final Score: 6.0/10A competent game, but lacking innovation. For those expecting a real evolution, EAFC 26 is a major disappointment. »
