Disponible sur PC, PlayStation 4 et 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One et Xbox Series X|S, le titre réunit vingt personnages emblématiques de DreamWorks Animation, parmi lesquels Shrek, Po, Tigresse, le Chat Potté, Harold, Astrid et Baby Boss, sur vingt circuits inspirés de franchises du studio comme le marais de Shrek, le zoo de Madagascar ou l'île de Beurk. Les joueurs peuvent personnaliser leurs karts à l'aide de nombreuses pièces et accessoires, exploiter des pistes magiques via des interrupteurs disséminés sur les parcours et bénéficier de pouvoirs liés aux personnages des Trolls, qui agissent également comme présentateurs des courses. Le jeu propose des modes solo ainsi que des multijoueurs en ligne et en local à écran partagé. La durée de la campagne principale est estimée à deux heures, contre trente-deux heures pour une expérience complète, et le prix est fixé à 39,99 euros.
L'accueil critique s'est révélé mitigé. Video Chums a salué l'un des meilleurs kart racers récents grâce à la qualité de ses circuits, tandis que PSX Brasil a jugé le jeu amusant et attentif aux fans d'animation, tout en le percevant comme limité au rang de produit générique du genre. Du côté des joueurs, certains avis Steam positifs estiment le titre correct une fois paramétré à 120 fps, alors que des retours négatifs déplorent des graphismes peu flatteurs pour le studio.
