Pour sa part, Multiplayer.it a regretté l’omniprésence des achats intégrés, déclarant que « Die Hard would be a funny endless runner, if only wasn't filled with so many overwhelming and intrusive in-app purchases ».

« As an endless runner that mixes in some light-gun-style action with the endless runner formula, Die Hard ain’t terrible. »
« Die Hard would be a funny endless runner, if only wasn't filled with so many overwhelming and intrusive in-app purchases. »
« A premium endless runner based on a movie license that is designed like a freemium endless runner based on a movie license. The shooting adds some enjoyment while running, but not for very long. »
« It's not bad, in a "flash game circa 2003" sort of way. [May 2013, p.82] »
« It's like it's fifth movie. It gives you nothing relevant, looks alright and it's not very interesting if you're not a fan of the series. It's a nice attempt, but it's still far from such a special series as Die Hard. »
« It might be ugly, stupid, and often unintentionally hilarious, but Die Hard is fun enough that for whatever brief period of your life you waste on it you won't mind. »
« In fairness to Die Hard, the game does - awkward character modeling and animation aside - at least function and do what it sets out to do. It's not the best runner though, and it's certainly not the best shooter, and the combination of the two in this instance is rather slow and dull. But it works for however much time you're prepared to give to it. »
« This casually made adventure isn't bad in any way. On the other hand, it's not good in any way either. Die Hard is the pure definition of mediocrity. »
