Delta Force
Delta Force

« Delta Force from developer Team Jade is a wonderful free-to-play tactical shooter. It is driven by a massive 64-player online mode featuring gigantic and towering maps, while also containing some reprieve in its Operations mode that is more personal and linear. The game needs a bit more balance in its player selection at the moment, and a controller option, but as of right now it looks to be on the right track. »
« Delta Force hits the mark as a challenging tactical shooter, but it lacks the original ideas and authenticity to be a real hit. »
« Delta Force is both a good large-scale PvP shooter and a serviceable extraction shooter, equal parts solid and unremarkable at each. »
« An entertaining one-stop-shop for competitive multiplayer action, but the recently released Black Hawk Down campaign is an unpleasant war simulation in all the wrong ways. »
« Where Black Hawk Down bombards you with exasperating shootouts and tedious escort missions set against a background of jingoism, its competitive modes struggle for the refinements of a game made a decade ago. [Issue#409, p.112] »

« The Warfare mode is a blast. Lots of weapons, strategies, and vehicles. The gunplay feels great and accurate. On the downside, all the lobbies are filled with cheaters to the point of being unplayable sometimes: wallhacks, aimbots, insta-kill, even enemies teleporting. Any possible cheat you can name. Also, the fact that these cheaters have high ranks means that the company has never taken the necessary actions to address these issues. I report all these hackers, and hopefully Team Jade will eventually act. Something infuriating is how, when spawning somewhere, the game sends you to a random location. It is very disorienting. You may spawn in the middle **** or under a vehicle, so you get killed instantly. Also, vehicles are way too dominant in the current meta. Most roles are useless, and only the team with the best engineers will win. Vehicles take a very long time to upgrade. That means new players are at an extreme disadvantage when facing fully upgraded vehicles. There is just no way a new player can win a 1v1 with a level 1 tank against a fully upgraded one. Finally, the controls for the aircraft are the weirdest I have ever seen. »
« Ive played this game for quite some time and it just gets worse and worse, matchmaking is a joke you can play your first match and get put up against a top 50 in the world player, honestly a complete waste off time »
« It's not a fun game in the long run, the DEV's have lied about skill-based matchmaking, and casual players are not separate from ranked players, even when shutting ranked off, mind you. you do "Okay" one match and you get stomped by the entire ranked e-sports community for the next 8 matches leaving an unfun loss where your team can barely get a collective 100 kills across all 32 players while the opponents team often gets stacked with the better players instead of distributing them between both factions leading to land-slide losses or one sided battles, where you cant even see your opponents most of the time before getting killed by them. snipers especially when bolt action rifles head shots are a guarantee one hit kill, and weapon META's feel off when an enemy kills you from long to medium range with an SMG and you can barely get a single kill a match with the weapons Attachment and Calibration system. where the players you often get stuck with are the exact opposite, often sabotaging an entire match. From this post, most recent playthrough April 4, I decided to off my character manually when downed in warfare because players Medic class or not prioritize healing before clearing enemy players, leading to a conga line of Lemming Players walking into the line of sight of a camping enemy player. With a pile of 9 downed operators and players still chose to heal rather than hunt the enemies, leading to the attacking team losing team lives en masse. Not to Mentioned the Rampant cheating going on with players using aim bots or kill hacks and the only punishment is a blanket few week ban, Vehicles that completely overpower the match with the better matched team getting them first with better options such as tanks and helicopters, VTOL Jets, with player weapon counter measures that are inefficient to stop them other than other vehicles the lesser team can manage to get enough points to get such as maybe an weaponized Truck or Rarely an anti-tank APC, leading to a viscous up hill battle that often ends in a lop sided loss. the game is fun and creative in its own right but not separating Ranked Players and Casual Players and throw both into matches is not fun, not fun at all, I wanted a battlefield clone but got sweaty Call of duty lobbies with players bunny hopping and dolphin diving all over the map. as much as I personally like this game and the world it establishes I cannot recommend it to players looking for a casual battlefield like experience, you are unfortunately forced for play with ranked players and you have no way to opt out other than leaving the match and queuing for another, you are going to have a very rough, unfair, and often Frustrating experience. Not a good game, sad to say, the devs seem to care more about selling the loot box Mendelbricks and cosmetic bundles rather than being transparent with the Delta Force community and properly balancing the game experience for both ranked and casual players. The SBMM or the Equivalent needs to be removed from general play, or ranked needs to be its own separate game mode for this game to improve in any way. I'm going to have to give it a 3/10, sadly. »
« I like this game very much because there are many different maps and weapons, and you can make a very good assembly with this weapon »
« One of the worst shooters I've ever played. Here's the reasoning:1.) Balance? Forget it, the developers have no idea what balance is. As a skilled player, I'm constantly thrown into teams with players of very poor skill who don't help me at all. I'm constantly matched against marshals, even when my team includes players who aren't even ranked. As a result, I always lose 80% of my matches.2.) Constant glitches and unstable server connection. Even with my high-speed internet connection on the PS5, the game is unreliable.3.) A donation-based cesspool that prevents you from leveling up properly and buying good skins. Even if there's an offer for a nice skin, the game developers will squeeze hundreds of thousands of dollars out of everyone before you get the skin you want.4.) And the worst thing is that this is a Chinese project. As we all know, Chinese developers can't create high-quality releases. Just look at the localization; some parts are still in hieroglyphics, and the game is over a year old. The game itself is poorly optimized, which is also typical of Chinese developers. How did you manage to get textures to load before me on the PS5 Pro? I haven't seen this in many shooters on the PS4 Pro. How did you manage to do this on a powerful next-gen console? The only right decision I made was deleting this garbage and I don't plan on going back. But unfortunately, I spent a couple hundred dollars on skins that I can't get back. »
« Its a okay bf alterative if you cannot afford BF or are interested in the genre of 32x32 PVP. »
« perfect, balanced, fast if you are tryhard, and steath if you want. but need more ray tracing and path tracing and support for linux »
