GameZone 81/100

« Though it was not the most challenging game, Mind Over Mutant remained a joy to play. Stepping into the 3D world is definitely a good move for the franchise, and the gameplay translates well. »

PGNx Media 80/100

« Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a surprisingly well put-together platforming title. »

Cheat Code Central 78/100

« Sure, Crash: Mind Over Mutant doesn't reinvent the wheel, and there's no way it's vintage-inspired gameplay can stand up to modern titles. But, it still manages to be quite fun, and it's worth a spin if you have ever played (and loved) a past Crash game. »

GamingTrend 75/100

« Crash MOM isn’t a bad game, but it’s not a particularly good one either. »

ZTGD 73/100

« Crash Mind Over Mutant is the kind of game that does nothing inherently wrong, but also fails to do anything to set itself apart from the herd. »

Gamers' Temple 72/100

« Mind Over Mutant doesn't mutate the standard platform game experience to stand out from the crowd. »

Planet Xbox 360 71/100

« The game succeeds in what it is trying to be but fails to be the amazing Crash game that we are all waiting for. »

GamingXP 71/100

« Being a colourful and thoughtful title the new Crash game will catch the attention of many youngsters. Parents will appreciate that. Action- and shooter-fans should back off though. The concept of the game has basically not changed, but great innovations have been realized (next-gen-ready!). After only ten hours the fun is over. »

MagPistolinha 8/10

« While not being as challenging as it's older ones, nor having that much of a dynamic gameplay. it goes hard for kids and is pretty much a fun and solid game. »

yourgamer69 10/10

« This game is the best Crash: Mind Over Mutant because of the soundtrack, the cutscenes, and overall a great game. (I speedrun it quite often) »

« the game is really fun despite a lot of annoying things like the boss battles they don't really feel like a fighting a "boss" it's just some repetitive steps and it's really boring, also the back track is horrible but genuinely i think this game didn't deserve the hate it received when it launched on PS2, it's still a fun game with variety of things to do and the cut scenes are top notch and some of the ost i consider the best and enjoy listening to till this day, it wasn't the best because it dramatically shifts the way crash games is played and that's why it's having a bad reviews but it's really worth a shot if you ever manage to have it or think of playing, it's a really fun game and you gonna have a good time playing it and even more fun when playing with someone else. i have played it 2 times the first on PS2 and second time on X360 and i really recommend playing it on the X360 for the better texture resolution and overall better quality »

« Crash Mind Over Mutant is the tenth game in the Crash Bandicoot series, released in 2008. As a long-time fan of the series, I was both excited and skeptical about this game. After playing it, I have to say that my expectations were not met. The game's storyline is weak and forgettable, and the characters lack the charm and personality of previous games. The gameplay is repetitive and unengaging, with no real challenge or sense of progression. The graphics are decent, but nothing groundbreaking. As a nostalgic fan of the series, I was disappointed by how far the franchise had strayed from its roots. It felt like the developers were trying to cash in on the success of the previous games without putting in the effort to create something truly great. Overall, Crash Mind Over Mutant is a forgettable addition to the series and does not live up to the standards set by its predecessors. If you're a fan of the franchise, I recommend sticking to the earlier games. Crash Mind Over Mutant is the tenth game in the Crash Bandicoot series, released in 2008. « Whilst the game does get pretty repetitive, it has plenty of variety in the already dull beat-em-up style of gameplay. The mutants have much more uses to the platforming sequences and the compact style side cutscenes made great use of their limited budget. Definitely the greatest Radical Entertainment video game and 1 of the only 2 post-naughtydog masterpieces. »

PcaMutton 6/10
