Beach Buggy Racing, développé et édité par Vector Unit, est sorti le 16 septembre 2014 sur PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, Windows Phone, Nintendo Switch et Xbox One. Ce jeu de course arcade propose un monde de karting tout-terrain où le joueur affronte des rivaux aux personnalités et capacités uniques, en utilisant des powerups comme Dodgeball Frenzy, Fireball ou Oil Slick, et en débloquant divers véhicules sur 15 circuits en 3D à travers six modes de jeu. Présenté comme la suite officielle de Beach Buggy Blitz, il affiche un temps de parcours principal d'environ 13 heures et une approche complétionniste de 22 heures et demie, avec une note agrégée de 51,44.
L'accueil critique s'est révélé mitigé. Gamezebo a regretté l'absence de mode multijoueur, estimant que la partie aurait été bien plus excitante à plusieurs, tandis qu'Apple'N'Apps a salué un kart racer bien exécuté avec un bon équilibre de gameplay. Du côté des joueurs, les avis cités sur Metacritic divergent : l'un qualifie le titre de chef-d'œuvre personnel, alors qu'un autre déplore des contrôles peu précis, des powerups décevants et des boss trop faciles, tout en jugeant les graphismes et le système de boost corrects.

« the controls feel like you ran over a deer, the power ups ****, and the bosses are laughably easy. the graphics are good and the boost system is ok, but the controls are so wavy and sloppy that i cant recommand this to anyone. »
