Ball x Pit, développé par Kenny Sun et édité par Devolver Digital, est sorti le 15 octobre 2025. Ce roguelite de survie au gameplay frénétique mêlant ambiance fantasy, destruction de briques, fusion de boules et construction de base propose au joueur d'incarner des chasseurs de trésors plongeant dans le gouffre de l'ancienne Baboulone, une cité détruite par un météorite, afin d'affronter des hordes de monstres à l'aide d'un arsenal de boules rebondissantes. Le système de fusions permet d'équiper et combiner plus de 60 boules randomisées parmi des centaines de possibilités, tandis que la reconstruction de la Nouvelle-Baboulone s'appuie sur plus de 70 bâtiments uniques offrant bonus et automatisations, et que l'exploration traverse déserts, cavernes gelées et forêts peuplés d'ennemis et de boss. La MàJ Royale a introduit les personnages Fauconnière et Sybarite, huit nouvelles boules comme les feux d'artifice ou le glissement de terrain, ainsi qu'un mode Infini très demandé, et la MàJ Fantôme a ajouté les personnages Tunnelier et Dérobée, plus de 10 nouvelles boules, de nouveaux passifs et le bâtiment Hall de guilde. Disponible sur PC, Mac, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S et Nintendo Switch 2, ce titre Unity 6 classé parmi les genres shooter, arcade et indépendant affiche une note agrégée de 78,71 et un prix de 14,99 euros, avec un temps de jeu principal d'environ 19 heures et de 36 heures pour un parcours complet. La presse a salué l'interaction des systèmes de jeu et le style gothique des personnages, Loot Level Chill évoquant un titre que l'on ne veut jamais arrasser de jouer grâce à sa fusion de Breakout et de roguelike, tandis que certains joueurs sur Metacritic et Steam décrivent une expérience addictive mêlant action et stratégie, facile à prendre en main et complète.

I only mention this because I imagine unassailable high is akin to the combination of multi balls, baby balls and area-affecting synergies found herein. If the dev' keeps iterating on this base, adding new buildings and challenges? They have a cure for substance addiction. »
