Gameplay de Art of Rally

Quarter to Three 100/100

« It might not have all the detail a gearhead expects, but that doesn’t mean it’s superficial. The cars might look like toys, but the driving model is no joke. It might not have a first-person view, or upgradable cars, or a career mode RPG, or demanding graphics, or product placement, or a shouting co-driver, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less of a rally racing game. Instead, it’s an adoring and adorable idyll about taking a relaxing drive through a lovely countryside, and doing it as fast as you can. »

God is a Geek 90/100

« From its incredible soundtrack to its unbelievably fun gameplay and striking visuals, art of rally is a genuine contender for 2020’s best racer. »

Finger Guns 90/100

« A natural evolution of Absolute Drift, art of rally is a terrific passion project that serves as the perfect love letter to rally driving. Designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of skill level, and with a huge amount of content, it’s a game that you could easily be playing a year from now and still finding new ways to approach it. As such, it’s an incredible value proposition and one of the best racing games in recent memory. »

Worth Playing 90/100

« Art of Rally is a racing game for those who want something different. The more playful nature is a nice contrast to the title's simulation-style handling and physics. There are plenty of cars, liveries, and tracks to unlock, and the online play keeps things fresh thanks to the system of weekly and daily challenges. Unless you only want serious racing games, genre fans will love Art of Rally. »

JeuxActu 85/100

« art of rally is a love letter to rallying, with an incredible content, sublime visuals, a very good OST, and gameplay which offers as much feel as the biggest IP or rallying. »

The Games Machine 83/100

« Don’t trust art of rally. Even if it looks like a cute, tiny, aesthetic arcade racing game, it is actually a love tribute to the history of rally, from a rally lover to rally lovers all over the world. Underneath his neat visual style and his top-down visuals lies a great rally sim, stripped of every needless detail and still playable by any kind of gamer thanks to a vast array of camera and difficulty options. »

« Reconnecting with feelings that have gone out of fashion, Art of Rally is a welcome entertainment at a time games are more and more complex and dense. Just like kart racing, it offers quick handling and good sensations. Without second thoughts, we drive and we learn to adapt to the different cars it offers. In addition, it is perfect for small PC configurations. »

« At least the game is pretty and the cars look cool, that's pretty much it for the positive part of my review. Downloaded it wanting to platinum it but ended up giving up a little bit passed the halfway mark. The career is at the very least twice too long, even the devs didn't bother making enough maps. The driving physics are awful and incosistent where the same car in the same conditions will react in completely different ways The driving assists are better when they're off, what's the point. If you like racing games, this is not for you. »

Juegazo. »

LordGadroid 6/10

« game crash continually. its not bad actually but cant playable and with one crash all your work going to dump »

Viperus 6/10

« Physics feel like you're driving on the Moon, but not in a fun, Mario kart kind of way, it just feels like your drifting all over the place, bouncing from tree to tree even when driving 20kmh. »

« I initially played and reviewed this on Switch at a slightly lower score, but ended up repurchasing on Steam. I really like this game. I really appreciate how this game has a deep layer of complexity despite the simple aesthetics. It is definitely not a racing sim, but it is highly skill based. It takes a lot of practice to get the controls down, and the game does a great job of ramping up the difficulty by gradually giving you better and faster cars and throwing you into longer and more complex courses. It provides a nice variety in gameplay as well, its a very relaxing game at first, but if you push through the early stages in the game you'll be white knuckling some of the later stages at much faster speeds. This is carefully woven into the career mode, which explores the history of rally racing, so the complexity naturally evolves throughout the course of the career mode of the game. I also really like the variety of different vehicles, as many of them control vastly different from one another. The next major improvement over the Switch version are the absolutely beautiful minimalist graphics. I immediately noticed how beautiful the graphics are when I booted it up. Its a very unique racing game as it really captures all things fun about rally racing games while making the graphics and presentation so simple that its really charming. It proves that you don't necessarily need the most graphically demanding game to have a beautiful and fun experience. Lots of content on here as well. I appreciate the unlicensed cars that have very obvious real life counterparts. Lots of courses including some that came out through an update. This is not a game for everyone, but if it strikes that special note with you, this is a fantastic game with lots to love and appreciate. »
