Army Men: Air Attack
Army Men: Air Attack, développé et publié par 3DO, est sorti le 13 octobre 1999 sur PC et PlayStation. Ce jeu de tir met aux prises les armées verte et tan à bord d'hélicoptères tels que le Huey, le Chinook, le Super Stallion et l'Apache, l'ennemi tan n'étant pas le seul à entraver le joueur puisque des insectes se dressent également sur la route, l'objectif étant de protéger chars, camions, autres hélicoptères, un train et même un ovni. Le temps de jeu annoncé est d'environ cinq heures pour l'histoire principale et neuf heures pour une partie complétiste, le titre étant protégé par la gestion des droits numériques SafeDisc et affichant une note agrégée de 71,22. La presse a salué l'expérience, Daily Radar y voyant un bon jeu d'action pour qui recherche un divertissement explosif sans prétention, tandis que CNET Gamecenter a relevé un mélange d'humour, de graphismes soignés et de mode multijoueur supérieur, certains joueurs sur Metacritic y voyant toutefois une copie assumée des jeux Strike teintée de Return Fire, amusante mais peu exigeante.
