WWF Royal Rumble, développé par Sculptured Software, Inc. et édité par LJN, est sorti le 1er février 1993 sur Super Nintendo Entertainment System et Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Classé dans les genres sport et combat, le jeu permet de contrôler l'un des douze catcheurs de la World Wrestling Federation, parmi lesquels Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Tatanka, Mr. Perfect, Crush, Ric Flair, Yokozuna, Ted Dibiase et Lex Luger, dans un affrontement sans règles où il est possible d'effectuer diverses prises et de sortir du ring. Plusieurs modes de jeu sont proposés, incluant le un-contre-un, le tag team à deux et le tag team à trois. Avec une note agrégée de 81,86, le titre a reçu des retours contrastés : si Hot Games jugeait qu'il s'agissait d'une meilleure expérience que les autres jeux de catch de l'époque, certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont regretté un roster bien inférieur à l'événement éponyme ou, à l'inverse, y ont trouvé un portage arcade acceptable et amusant pris pour ce qu'il est.
