WWF Raw, développé par Sculptured Software et édité par Acclaim Japan, LJN et Acclaim Entertainment, est sorti le 31 décembre 1994 sur Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega 32X, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis et Sega Game Gear. Classé dans les genres sport et combat, le jeu propose vingt-quatre mégabits de contenu mettant en scène des superstars et de nouvelles attaques, avec des actions à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur du ring dans l'objectif de remporter le titre de champion. Le score Metacritic du titre s'établit à 54, pour une note agrégée de 65,66.
L'accueil critique et des joueurs est partagé. Electric Playground a salué un ensemble réunissant un gameplay solide et des visuels soignés, tandis qu'IGN a relevé que les fans assidus apprécieraient l'intelligence artificielle exigeante, les modes multijoueur et l'éditeur de catcheur approfondi. À l'inverse, certains joueurs sur Metacritic regrettent un manque de modes et de types de matchs, un gameplay médiocre et des animations maladroites, tout en appréciant le musée permettant de consulter les titres, et un autre joueur y voit un très bon jeu à redécouvrir.

« Lack of modes and match types. Abysmal gameplay. Awkward animations. CAW ****. A few positives are that I do like the museum and how you can view someone's Titantron and music. It's kind of fun to see the A.I. duke it out. Not much else to point out. Disappointing. Soundtrack: 7/10 Gameplay: 3/10 Roster: 7/10 »
