The Fairly OddParents: Shadow Showdown est un jeu d'aventure et de plateforme développé par Blitz Games et édité par THQ et Nick Games. Disponible sur PlayStation 2 et Nintendo GameCube depuis le 8 septembre 2004, le titre plonge le joueur dans l'univers de Timmy Turner. Alors que la télévision s'éteint au moment de la finale de la saison de Crash Nebula, le héros demande l'aide de ses parrains magiques, qui découvrent que leur magie a disparu et apprennent rapidement que The Shadow en est responsable.
Le jeu affiche une note agrégée de 57,78. Sur le plan critique, l'Official U.S. Playstation Magazine a salué le fait que les fans de la série apprécieraient l'humour et les graphismes, tandis que GameZone a regretté qu'un peu plus d'innovation et de difficulté pour les fans plus âgés de la série n'aient pas été intégrées. Du côté des joueurs, certains ont partagé leurs retours sur Metacritic : l'un a décrit le titre comme l'un des meilleurs jeux basés sur une série animée de Nickelodeon, et un autre a relaté l'avoir terminé dix-neuf ans après y avoir joué pour la dernière fois en 2005, précisant qu'il était bien conçu et sans bugs.

« Yes, a little innovation scattered here and there would be great and maybe a few more difficult aspects thrown in for older fans of the show, would have been appreciated, but this game does so much right, that it’s hard to complain too much. « bueno este juego fue mi infancia y no lo habia jugado desde el 2005 despues de 19 años me lo termine y puedo decir que estuvo ok esta bien echo no hay bugs o cosas insufribles como muchos juegos de licencia la historia es la tipica historia de capitulo de los padrinos y eso no hay que tomarselo en serio, el gameplay es entretenido algo confuso en algunos momentos la musica es olvidable y lo molesto es los momentos que sale cosmo y wanda hablan a cada rato. pero en general es tuvo bueno si te gusta los padrinos magicos tal vez te guste este juego »
