Ce titre de sport prolonge la série primée en proposant de nouveaux parcours, des bonus, des cartes à collectionner, divers modes de jeu ainsi qu'un volet multijoueur, le tout présenté comme une revisite de la formule classique.
Le jeu mise sur une approche physique du golf agrémentée d'éléments de puzzle, enrichie par une mécanique de rotation et la possibilité d'annuler un coup, des ajouts salués pour leur apport tactique.
