Media and Games Online Network 93/100

« One of the best racing games to hit the console market. »

Voodoo Extreme 92/100

« Project Gotham gets harsh when you start going for gold. This game's liable to have you tearing out your hair and bawling like an infant with regularity. You'll wonder how on earth your competition managed to take that turn faster than you did, in a budget car that's far inferior to your performance-bred steel. »

Operation Sports 92/100

« PGR presents just enough challenge without being too hard and frustrating which keeps you coming back for more. »

PunisherTeam 9/10

« Pioneer in its genre with circuit in real streets. He gave a kick in graphics, speed and gameplay to PS2 Gran Turismo »

« Project Gotham Racing is a great arcade race. One of the first projects I met as an Xbox Original. Yes, after 20 years, the game is hardly anything, it can attract a player. Project Gotham Racing is outdated both technically and gameplay. The level of complexity is of course difficult to call average by the standards of modern games of the genre. There is no full-fledged campaign here, which is disappointing. All gameplay in the game is reduced to the accumulation of Kudos points. For 2001, the game has excellent graphics, despite the fact that the game was originally designed for Dreamcast. »

CloudStrife05 8/10

« Good racing game with a Kudos system that was very different at the time of release. Microsoft has brought that in a certain way into the Horizon series now. »

jake17 5/10

« it's fun but not much reason to play it today with a bunch of games that came out later plus it doesn't have a fun multiplayer »
