PSNStores 100/100

« The pacing is perfect, introducing new recipes and level obstacles in a way that consistently keeps the player engaged and wondering what could possibly come next. After having three friends over to play the game, all three of them went home, separately purchased it, and played it to completion either solo or with a significant other. I’m not sure any game I’ve shown my friends before this has had the same effect. »

games(TM) 90/100

« Overcooked will enter your regular game night rotation for years to come – it’s up there with the likes of Rayman Legends and Super Mario 3D World. If you need a new game to play with three friends, this is the one. »

Pelit (Finland) 86/100

« Overcooked is a tasty snack to enjoy between AAA games. It’s often a frustratingly difficult party game, but never a boring one. [Oct 2016] »

PlayStation Universe 85/100

« A thoughtfully crafted love letter to the sort of titles that many of us forged our gaming mettle with. »

Destructoid 85/100

« Aside from from the local-only consideration and some inconsistencies with the scoring criteria and stage layouts, man, what a game. Overcooked is the best co-op experience I've had in recent memory, and despite going back through to fully clear every level, I wish there were more. Don't overlook it. »

Games Master UK 82/100

« The best local multiplayer game of 2016 so far - this is co-op chaos that anyone can enjoy. [Oct 2006, p.78] »

Push Square 80/100

« Aside from a few minor presentation and performance niggles, Overcooked is a wonderfully executed game, and is one of the best co-operative experiences in recent years. The simplicity of the controls and gameplay make it extremely accessible, while there is still plenty of challenge in the later, crazier kitchens. »

God is a Geek 80/100

« A great slice of frantic cooking fun with a simple premise that is built upon with several layers of depth. While it can be played in single player, the real fun comes from playing with others due to the screams that occur when everything inevitably sets on fire. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

eMTG 8/10

« This game is a lot of fun if you have the four people you need (you can technically play some of the levels with less, but it isn't particularly fun). This game kills more friendships than any other game I can think of, but will leave whoever plays it laughing. Some of the levels can be a little bit obnoxious, but I would definitely say this is a good time. »

Richiu 10/10

« Overcooked – Review Overcooked is a chaotic, fast-paced couch co-op game that blends simple controls with increasingly intense kitchen madness. What sets it apart is how it starts off feeling light and fun — but gradually ramps up the challenge just enough to keep you hooked without becoming overwhelming. I found the difficulty to be just right: a sweet spot between fun and frustration. It kept me and my friends on our toes, but we never felt like we hit an impossible wall. Unlike Overcooked 2, which is way harder and sometimes punishing, the first game feels better balanced, especially for casual or semi-serious players. The story, though silly and lighthearted, fits perfectly with the tone. You’re saving the world by cooking meals for a giant spaghetti monster? Sounds absurd — but it works. It gives just enough narrative to tie the chaos together without getting in the way of the action. The mechanics are clever and surprisingly deep. You start with simple chopping and cooking, but soon you're dodging fires, sliding across ice, and coordinating between moving trucks. It’s a masterclass in how to create tension from teamwork, communication, and timing. Final Verdict:A near-perfect recipe of challenge, fun, and creativity. If Overcooked 2 is a gourmet test, the original Overcooked is the perfect home-cooked dish — satisfying and just hard enough.10 out of 10 stars. »

« Fun co-op game. »

« Overcooked 2 is a nice game to play with friends but playing multiplayer it bad because sometimes it takes forever to find a party or in the game someone leave »

« What a brilliant game! So much fun (and stress) - been amazing playing it with my partner. Simple concept but loads of fun when played as a couch co-op! Really good couples game! »

MaxPayneIsGod 6/10

« Lets be clear, I don't like this game, its got dozens of little annoying problems which it that are arguably deliberately designed that way. What I do like about it is that it made by non-gamer partner understand why games can be so much fun and for that I'll give it a 6 »

brockcheese 8/10

« This game is a lot of fun for a party game and you have to play with 4 players to make this enjoyable. Altogether really fun experience with forced cooperation. »

senritsuz 10/10

« I honestly was putting this game on a hold and here I find my self playing tgis very frequently with my friends in family an excellent game. »
