Nitrobike, édité par Ubisoft Entertainment et développé par Left Field Productions, est sorti le 15 janvier 2008 sur Wii et PlayStation 2. Ce jeu de course propose de ressentir l'intensité d'une course de moto cross sur terre battue propulsée au nitro, une première pour la console Wii, et permet de dépasser ses adversaires grâce à un boost de nitrous. Le studio à l'origine du titre est celui ayant réalisé Excitebike 64 sur Nintendo 64. Le jeu affiche une note agrégée de 41,00 et une durée de parcours principal estimée à dix heures. La presse a livré des avis contrastés : Kombo a suggéré aux fans d'Excite Truck de s'y intéresser, tandis que Play Magazine a relevé que le titre offrait de meilleures textures que beaucoup d'autres jeux de la console une fois sa prise en main acquise. Les retours de joueurs cités sur Metacritic sont eux aussi partagés, certains évoquant un chef-d'œuvre lié à leur enfance et d'autres décrivant une expérience mauvaise, avec des contrôles et des graphismes jugés médiocres.
