NHL 19

« You will find yourself fully immersed in your gameplay. »
« NHL 19 continues to refine its beloved sports title to a sheen. Game play feels fluid and responsive with next to nothing getting in its own way. NHL 19 sets a standard that most sports titles could learn from: fundamentals before flair. »
« Virtually everything about NHL 19 is a genuine step forward in quality. While some modes received the lion’s share of the attention, it feels like damn near everything received SOME love. If you have been on the fence, now is the time to lace up and hit the ice. We’ll see you between the pipes. »
« With every passing year, I’m consistently impressed how EA are able to improve on an already winning formula, making each new release of NHL a must own title, rather than a glorified roster update. »
« With newly added modes like World of CHEL and the inclusion of Real Player Motion, NHL 19 adds a new layer of polish onto last year's advancements in stick control and shooting. The end result is one of the best hockey games ever. »
« Besides some of the same nagging issues with the franchise, the portions that got upgraded truly shine. RPM Technology is no joke as the results are seen on the ice. Gameplay is fast and fun and the AI helps complete the experience. CEHL is extremely fun with a good bit of variety, but could use some more depth when compared to The ONE in NBA Live 19. The unified progression system that is here is quick and allows styles to be easily adjusted. Having 200 NHL Legends is fantastic if they were included in other ways outside of Ultimate Team. All the nitpicking gets thrown out the window once you hop on the ice, though, as NHL 19 is fun and exciting in action. »
« NHL 19 has something for everyone, packing tons of quality into its many fun and diverse modes. »
« By revamping its multiplayer efforts and focusing it in a hub that promotes creative expression (both cosmetically and through gameplay preferences), NHL 19 marks the best representation of simulation hockey video games this generation. »

« I love this nhl game. While it may not be incredible, it is certainly a step in the right direction with commentary staying the same it can get boring. Although the gameplay and graphics make up for it. The cellys are really good too overall great game »
« CONTENT: 8 GRAPHICS: 8 GAMEPLAY: 8 It's definitely one of the best sports games availables, a must have for NHL fans. »
« One of the games that EA made that is actually good. The Madden team needs to look at this and try to make their game like this. Best modern sports game. »
« Much better than NHL18. Nice moves, but thats probably all. Still missing the IIHF »
« VERY GRAND GAME HOCKEY!!!!!! 15/10 !!!!!!!! oh god i finished seeing the graphics »
« Nothing to do with hockey. Or having a good time. Stay clear from EA Sports. »
« This game is the worst NHL game I have ever played. The poke checking being a tripping penalty half the time kills the gameplay for me. It forces you to try to lay back more and go for more hits. But guys will just get by you.. Poke checking will rarely ever lead to a trip in a real game. It kills this game. Some people like it but I will never buy another game that is like this. Also I hate HUT and think it should be removed from all NHL games. If you play this mode you are part of the problem. Franchise mode should be the main focus.. And I couldn't even make a trade on easy trade difficulty.. This is by far the hardest NHL game to make trades.. Also I tried to make my GM's name "Steve Yzerman" and it wouldn't work because the name was too long. What garbage this game is... I just played NHL 20 Beta and it's more of the same with worse passing.. I have played NHL 15, 17, 18, 19 and the 20 Beta on my PS4. And in my opinion NHL 15 has the best gameplay overall. But NHL 07 and 08 are my favourite NHL games to date from what I remember. It's been awhile but the older games were better for sure. »
« I play nhl only for hut. When it first came out it was a great experience although flawed. Zoom ahead five years we are still looking at the same flaws, same commentary and I see only mild inpmprovements. I quit buying nhl for a while but it's been a while so I bought this on psn for a deep discount. I lasted two days. This games major flaw remains that being it is not balanced by statistics of your players but rather gameplay tuners. You have a better chance beating an all star setting mode with a terrible team than a competitive team with high overall players. The game still has tilt giving you huge advantages to passing, skating, positioning etc if you are the huge underdog and punishing you with all kinds of unclean gameplay if you have earned an excellent overall team. Expect that team to have errant passing, terrible skating, positioning and on and on forcing you to cheese the software. EA has made this problem slower to surface as earning players are now harder to get which delays this problem but the problem remains the game is controlled by tuning and the better the players you get which you want to play cuz they are your favourite nhl stars, the more frustrating the game becomes through actual lack of control. This is a disc where the longer you play the worse the gameplay gets...same story every year and EA has only fixed the game 5% over 5 years. Thumbs down from my standpoint, again. »
