NBA Street V3, jeu de sport développé par EA Canada et édité par EA Sports BIG, a été publié le 8 février 2005 sur Nintendo GameCube. La version pour cette console inclut Mario, Luigi et la Princesse Peach en tant que personnages jouables, désignés dans le jeu comme les « Nintendo All-Stars ». Cette présence découle d'un accord passé entre EA et Nintendo pour intégrer des personnages et propriétés de la marque Nintendo dans quelques productions de l'éditeur, une initiative également mise à profit par le titre SSX Tour. Un terrain de basket inspiré de l'univers Mario, baptisé Nintendo Court, est par ailleurs disponible dans la version GameCube.
L'accueil critique s'est appuyé sur plusieurs points précis du jeu. Le média GameSpy a salué l'ensemble des ajouts en affirmant : « From the new Trick Stick system to the amazingly deep career mode, nearly everything added to NBA Street V3 works perfectly... [T]his may very well be the grea… ». De même, Play Magazine a souligné le rendu des modèles de joueurs en citant : « For V3, the player models have photorealistic heads and faces - you can actually see facial details and markings. The development team even incorporated cloth … ».
