Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« If you’re a supercross fan, it’s very easy to recommend Monster Energy Supercross 5. As ever, if you own one of its recent predecessors, it doesn’t really offer much that’s genuinely new. But improvements across the board, from handling to career features, make this the pinnacle of the series; it’s a must-have for ardent fans of the sport, and great for those looking for a way-in. »
« Despite having a clunky interface, the game itself is wonderfully well crafted. The dirt and terrain feel very real and learning to control yourself is both challenging and rewarding without ever getting frustrating. The DualSense controls are an absolute benefit to playing the game on the PlayStation 5 by allowing haptic feedback to the bike itself in a very well crafted and realistic way. Character customization suffers pretty hard but beyond that and the interface, the experience itself is really well done. »
« The most approachable this series has ever been, Monster Energy Supercross 5 is much kinder to newcomers while offering plenty of new content to please returning players. There’s still room for improvement but this game is the best Monster Energy Supercross title so far. »
« Monster Energy Supercross 5 takes all the main gameplay elements of the past edition, without making huge changes. For this reason, despite the work done by the Milestone team being overall quite good, those who expected a clear step forward compared to the earlier entries could be partially disappointed. Among the positive aspects, some tweaks to the physics and greater accessibility should be noted. Among the negative ones, the lack of significant new features stands out: more content would undoubtedly have improved a gaming experience which, however, remains more than enjoyable. »
« Monster Energy Supercross 5 feels like more of the same, but the racing elements are strong despite not being welcoming to new players. »
« Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame takes advantage of the haptic feedback on the PS5 Dualsense controller. Thanks to this, players will feel the tension of racing on a sports bike. It might not look like a next-gen game, but fans will embrace the game thanks to its gameplay mechanics. »
« Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5 should please fans of the series. The additions make the game more accessible than ever and is more fleshed out thanks to the new content. The main drawback is the lack of haptic feedback in relation to the track surface. »
« The game is more of the same if you know the franchise and that in itself is good and bad news. Good news in the sense that you know what to expect in terms of gameplay, because that's just fine. Bad news in the sense that it hardly brings anything new. There is plenty to do and experience, but we know it all from previous parts. In addition, the graphics are in some parts a bit outdated, however in general it looks fine. On the other hand, there is fine gameplay and a fun career mode, but it is time to take innovative steps. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« The game is fun once you get used to the controls (which might take some time, but fortunately there are assists so you can still enjoy)My main problem is the inconsistent AI which can sometimes spoil the fun. I play on medium and on some tracks I beat the AI with 3-5s a lap, while on others I get destroyed and finish last. It feels really imbalanced. Also they alway crash into you. All in all it's enjoyable IMO. It looks good and it feels really nice on the PS5 controller. I got it for free on PS Plus, but will def think about buying one of the future iterations. »
« Good game on very easy or easy, once you hit medium and higher it starts to become pretty bad. I've put hundreds of hours in the previous versions of this game without problem but this one the racing is really bad. The physics are terrible and the constant being knocked off track by the other AI is game breaking. Keep waiting for it to be fun like the other versions but it never does. They need to use the Riders Republic bumping engine and their races are 64 people. 15 bucks on ps5 and I feel like I got ripped feel bad for the 60$ people »
« I'm impress how much fun this game is. It's not easy to learn the control but once you get the feeling of it is just great!. »
« I’m confused by the rating. Usually the ratings are better than what I feel like they should be but not this one. This is my first time actually liking one of these games. Graphics are awesome, it really tricks the eyes into thinking it’s real. Also I read other saying it’s buggy. I have not had one single issue, maybe I started playing after an update. I started playing 9/20/22 »
« Steering is wack, its impossible to stay on track, the second you start doing good it glitches out or crashes. Very glitchy and buggy. The difference between medium and hard is insane. I can finish 2 straights ahead on medium but cant even make a main event on hard. I play the hardest setting on every other sx/mx game no problem. Its very buggy and overall pretty bummed to waste 30 dollars. Hard to play even when you want to »
« Thus, the developers from Milestone managed to develop a good offshoot of the series with "Monster Energy Supercross 5". You get an interesting career mode and a variety of drivers, tracks, editors and settings. However, the title is aimed more at professionals and not only at newcomers, who will have to practice a lot first. In return, the controls can move much more pleasantly and authentically thanks to the PS5 controller. feels much more pleasant than before. Also with the graphical presentation, the latest version simply looks better too and sounds good as well. Those who would like to ride motorcycles in the mud again should gladly take a closer look at "Monster Energy Supercross 5". »
« The riding and handling are very good. Unfortunately the AI is game breaking. They do not know you are on the track. Drive right through you everytime. You crash but they do not. Graphics on Houston and Atlanta are unexplainably bad. For a perfect review go to Dr. Ace on youtube. »
