Monster 4x4: World Circuit
Description (IGDB)
This game has over 20 monster trucks and 30 circuits that take you all over the world. Race on circuits in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and even Antarctica. Drive trucks that have different car frames like a taxi, a mini cooper, an ambulance, a school bus, the original truck frame and much more. All of these can be customized with vinyls, paint jobs and performance parts. While racing you can score points to unlock hidden cars and tracks, by hitting barrels that can hurt opponents, and hitting tires, crates and buildings.

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« As with many simplistic racers, winning comes down to judicious use of power-ups and figuring out where the shortcuts are. [Jun 2006, p.81] »
« The game is just far too slow paced to provide any exciting moments, and the controls are much too sluggish to be fun. »
« Even when they have no competition, Ubisoft completely misses the mark on the monster truck racing genre with this run-of-the-mill and dull game. »
« Unremarkable but not awful. About as average as it gets. »
« The racing is bland, the destruction is minimal, the excitement is nonexistent, the presentation is mediocre, and the content is lacking. »
« This was a game that I really expected more from, but in the end it was nothing more than a monster disappointment. »
« It's sad, because a game that is made exclusively for the Xbox (the system commonly thought to be at the top of the current-gens) shouldn't be outdone by a title released for Gamecube and PS2 over 2 years ago. »
« If there was a better sense of speed, more destructive elements and a deeper control system along with a multitude of other improvements, it might turn into something fun. Sure there's multiplayer, but it's just as boring and confusing as the solo play. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Poor physics, an inconsistent frame rate, and a lack of tracks makes this game a very poor showing. Nice job, Ubisoft. »
