Avis des critiques et joueurs

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

Nintendojo 70/100

« An excellent attempt for Infogrames and I can't wait to see what they will come up with for the sequel. »

Adrenaline Vault 70/100

« Sorry to disappoint, but Ethan Hunt doesn't belong to the same clubs as Bond, get the same beautiful babes, use better gadgets, or even wear as nice clothes, and he sure doesn't have as great a game...not even close. »

All Game Guide 70/100

« Many have complained about Mission: Impossible's trial-and-error gameplay. Is it me, or do those same people seem to have forgotten that "GoldenEye 007" had the same type gameplay, especially on its higher levels of difficulty? »

Game Revolution 67/100

« Although Mission: Impossible puts strong emphasis on espionage tactics, some of the puzzles you are required to solve are rather obtuse, resembling mindless busy work, while others are downright (forgive the pun) puzzling. »

IGN 66/100

« The control problems, lack of balance and repetitive gameplay will turn off the majority of gamers spoiled by games like GoldenEye or Metal Gear. »

GameSpot 66/100

« Mission: Impossible is a very inconsistent game - some levels are great, and some just aren't any fun at all. But overall, most of the game is challenging and fun. »

Electric Playground 60/100

« I enjoyed the story elements of the game immensely. The communication between the characters in Mission: Impossible is mature and completely in tune with the feel of the series and film. Unfortunately, the bulk of the gameplay in the adventure is not up to the quality of the atmosphere that is created for us. »

Hot Games 60/100

« If you can look past graphics that came out of the Stone Age, if you can look past terrible sound effects (when guards get shot they grunt like… uh never mind), if you can look past a main character that doesn't look anything like Tom Cruise, if you can look past some ridiculous puzzles in places, you'll find Mission: Impossible, if you choose to accept it, really isn't that bad. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

RoddTodder 8/10

« It's not a bad game, the only problem is that the controls are not very intuitive, and like GoldenEye, it doesn't tell the story of the movie it's supposedly based on very well, but overall it's not bad. »

Yojimbo2015 7/10

« A brave attempt at making an espionage game that relies more on stealth and strategy than an itchy trigger finger. It's not perfect because of its very linear and trial and error nature but different enough from the pack to make it worth a look if you're all Goldeneyed-out. »

LogMan56 10/10

« This is the Most Underrated N64 Game of All-Time. This game really need a next gen remake! »

Toasty87 7/10

« Used to rent this at blockbuster way back in the day multiple times liked it then and i like it now. »

sumbodyshero 10/10

« I just replayed this and I was blown away by how good it was!! It was what you played when you were thirsting for more Goldeneye back in the day. »

tsakiym 6/10

« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »

drlowdon 5/10

« Mission Impossible had a number of good ideas and concepts taken from the movie but could never quite figure out how to implement them. Some missions are very good fun others simply aren't. »

wesker2012 6/10

« This game was pretty bad but first level was fun. »
