MC Groovz Dance Craze
MC Groovz Dance Craze est un jeu de musique sorti le 22 décembre 2004 sur Nintendo GameCube. Produit et édité par Mad Catz, fabricant de périphériques de longue date, il invite les joueurs à danser sur des chansons d'artistes populaires comme Jessica Simpson, Jewel, Kevin Lyttle, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince ou encore KC and the Sunshine Band.
Le jeu propose plusieurs modes solo et multijoueur : Just Dance, Dance Together, Dance Face Off et Dance Work Out. Il permet de s'entraîner pour devenir un meilleur danseur, de se mesurer à un ami ou de faire de l'exercice. Un dance pad peut être fourni avec le jeu ou acheté séparément, mais la manette GameCube est également utilisable.
Le jeu obtient une note agrégée de 30. Nintendorks a souligné qu'il s'agit du premier jeu de danse sur GameCube, proposant des chansons pop. GameZone l'a jugé amusant comme Dance Dance Revolution, mais moins exigeant. Un joueur sur Metacritic a pour sa part vivement critiqué le titre, remettant en cause la note utilisateur de 7,6 attribuée par six personnes.

« The only thing you really need to know about McGroovz is as follows: this game is the first dancing game on the Nintendo GameCube, featuring pop songs that should be familiar to many and a dance mat that's included with the package. If you haven't been sold on the deal by reading that, not much else is going to convince you. »
« We don't want to work. It's not fun. MC Groovz Dance Craze makes it fun just as "DDR" has. The difference here is that you don't have to work as hard with this game. You can move at your own pace and work your way up to "DDR's" level. »
