GameZone 80/100

« With the exception of the bugs that I mentioned, this game is compelling. When you feel the need to play a game in any spare moment (bugs and all) you know that it's a good game. »

Gaming Nexus 80/100

« The game has its fair share of aggravating glitches, but manages to simulate the feel of the show and offer up a substantial crime scene experience at the same time. »

Gamezilla! 79/100

« This is definitely one for the mystery and adventure gaming crowds, but may quickly become a novelty for gamers of other genres. »

PC Gamer 77/100

« It's still a fine adaptation, offering a surprising amount of gumshoe depth. [Mar 2006, p.102] »

Just Adventure 75/100

« The biggest mysteries to be solved in this game, however, are the technical problems. As great as it is to have beautiful graphics and realistic noises and other great miracles of technology, they are taxing on computers, and mine isn’t even three years old. »

Game Over Online 70/100

« If you enjoy easy-going, slow-paced games, if you like watching the “Law & Order” television series (or, really, any police procedural series), or if you just have some time to kill, then you might like Criminal Intent well enough. »

GameSpy 60/100

« The third-person perspective is a bust, and the gameplay is often too linear and tedious. On the bright side, fans of police procedurals and Law & Order in particular should find the cases interesting to unravel. »

IGN 60/100

« If you are extremely patient, a fan of the show, and are willing to stomach and fight through the bugs, then this might be worth your time. With four cases and about 12-15 hours of gameplay (plus all the loading time), you'll have at least a weekend to occupy yourself. »
