If My Heart Had Wings
If My Heart Had Wings est un visual novel animé développé par Pulltop et édité par Moenovel, Pulltop et MAGES., sorti le 25 mai 2012. Disponible sur PlayStation 3, PC, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch et PlayStation Vita, le jeu se classe dans les genres aventure, simulation et visual novel. L'intrigue se déroule à Kazegaura, en banlieue de Tokyo, où Aoi Minase, un jeune garçon ayant perdu ses rêves de coureur cycliste à la suite d'un accident, revient dans sa ville natale et y rencontre Kotori Habane, une fille en fauteuil roulant. Ensemble, avec leur amie d'enfance Ageha Himegi, ils reconstruisent le club de volant menacé de fermeture et tentent de construire un planeur pour traverser le phénomène météorologique du « Morning Glory ». Le titre propose une histoire principale d'environ vingt heures et demie et une expérience complétiste approchant les cinquante heures, pour un prix de 14,99 euros et une note agrégée de 89,93. La presse a salué son environnement audiovisuel et son récit émotionnel, comme le relève FNintendo qui le décrit comme l'un des meilleurs visual novels sur Nintendo Switch, tandis que Digitally Downloaded a loué sa nostalgie émouvante. Certains joueurs sur Steam recommandent le titre pour la beauté de son histoire, même sans le patch de contenu adulte, et mettent en avant le développement des personnages lié aux choix.

« If My Heart Had Wings is an entertaining, slice-of-life, light romance/comedy tale, which, strangely enough, also delves with the creation and flying of a glider plane, and even succeeds in making that part entertaining. That being said, this will probably only appeal to fans of the genre and no one else, as it's a somewhat generic choice for a visual novel. Even fans, however, should expect something that takes a bit too long for anything to get going. Prepare yourself for lots and lots of reading, which can eventually put you to sleep. »
