Hyperlight Ultimate, développé et édité par CatfishBlues Games, est paru le 9 juillet 2019 sur Nintendo Switch. Ce jeu de tir arcade place le joueur aux commandes d'un vaisseau spatial évoluant dans un environnement cosmique virtuel, confronté à des hordes de monstres aliens hostiles. Le vaisseau dispose de la capacité de voyager à une vitesse supraluminique, se transformant alors en arme finale capable de détruire instantanément tout ce qu'il touche par collision. Plusieurs bonus, armes et entités viennent soutenir le joueur face aux difficultés rencontrées, dont des combats contre de terrifiants boss finals. La presse a salué le titre : NintendoWorldReport a ainsi estimé que Hyperlight Ultimate reste un excellent jeu et mérite d'être joué sur une console moderne, tandis que Cubed3 a qualifié l'opus de bon petit shooter arcade, plus complet et satisfaisant sur Switch que sur 3DS. L'agrégat de notes du jeu s'établit à 77,00.
