FlingSmash
À l'inverse, Destructoid a regretté que « The lack of content, despite some clever ideas, makes it feel like it would have been better suited for a WiiWare title at a downloadable game price ». Certains joueurs s'exprimant sur Metacritic évoquent un « mindless, co-op fun for a while », tandis qu'un autre qualifie le jeu de « OK I guess », le décrivant comme « very niche and obscure, and its primary purpose is showcasing the Motion Plus » et « fun for a few minutes ».

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« Addictive simplicity. [Dec 2010, p.86] »
« The lack of content, despite some clever ideas, makes it feel like it would have been better suited for a WiiWare title at a downloadable game price. »
« The hero is a lot of fun, the setting is interesting and gameplay is somehow original. A shame for all the repetitiviness and the annoying controls. »
« FlingSmash is a fun game which will keep us entertained, specially if we play in company or if we love to surpass our own high scores, although it won't be liked by everyone. »
« FlingSmash is a refreshing game, but its innovating gameplay isn't really deep enough. It still works quite well though, but here's the second flaw : it's really short (4 hours) and repetitive (especially when playing coop). You can always come back to it for scoring purposes, or enjoy some not-so-inspired mini-games. »
« As it is, it's the core of a good game that pops in and out of the consciousness without leaving a lasting impression. »
« If you find you have a knack for the basic gameplay of FlingSmash, beyond willing yourself through the levels as I did, there's plenty of replayability. »
« A really bad showcase for MotionPlus, inexplicably packaged with a technology it doesn't understand. [Issue#56, p.48] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« FlingSmash is good for some mindless, co-op fun for a while, but there are plenty of other games out there for that too. But if you want something that uses the wii mote that nearly anyone can play, it's worth at least a lazy afternoon. It's not really that FlingSmash isn't good or that isn't bad, just that it doesn't get interesting after the surface level of playing it, so really there is little reason to revisit. »
« It's OK I guess. It's very niche and obscure, and its primary purpose is showcasing the Motion Plus. It's fun for a few minutes but I moved on and didn't rediscover it until 10 years later. I don't even know who the final boss of this game is;) »
« This game is horrible. Even though the game requires the Wii Motion Plus accessory or a Wii Remote Plus controller in order to play, I didn't see any difference in the motion controls. FlingSmash all in all is very disappointing and I say you should totally skip it and screw you MJR for calling this game a "hidden gem". »
« pac-man va flotando rompiendo bloques y salva a la princesa como en mario *el juego* »
« FlingSmash hell yeah! Its even better than my 50 comments of Wii Play Motion »
« FlingSmash, to me, is a 10/10 game. The world is lively and vivid, with fun character designs. The controls are fluid due to the Wii MotionPlus's capabilities. The game has an original gameplay style that goes hand-in-hand with the Wii's gimmick of motion controls. Don't know why it's not as highly regarded by the critics. »
