« unplayable waste of time, effort and money a poor design executed poorly. the graphics are garbage, the simulation is beyond arcade into cartoon (there are no flaps, controls aren't customizable at all, there is no moving the camera, there is no atc, there is no other air traffic, there is no life in the universe other than you, planes have a low altitude alarm that goes off during landing, filling the screen and distracting the player). But there are a few places where the game goes from simply bad to quite literally unplayable. The chase cam works inasmuch as it is capable of displaying the graphics, which I have to emphasize barely rival 1990's Red Baron for simulation quality, but the internal cockpit cam simply greys out the middle two thirds of the screen. I know the landscape is supposed to be visible because I can see it out the sides of the windscreen, but the middle is completely blocked by a big grey blob of uninitialized whatever. So I switch back to the immersion-breaking chase cam and pull into final approach, I begin dumping speed and altitude and, annoyingly enough, the low altitude alarm is going off the entire time I approach. I am still a couple thousand feet in the air nowhere near any sort of traffic when the game decides without prompting or warning that I've crashed, takes the controls away from me, instantly slows my plane's airspeed to 0 and I have to watch as it slowly hovers downward into the ground. I know I didn't crash because it was several agonizing seconds of the plane descending like an elevator before it *did* hit the ground, whereupon a wreck noise was played and the plane came apart. I just have to emphasize that it was a puzzlingly long time, at least 5 seconds and maybe 10, between the game telling me I crashed and any visual indication of a crash or damage to the plane. This isn't just a bad flight sim, it can't reasonably call itself a sin. What it is is an $8 lesson I learned that I'm now imparting unto you gratis: don't every buy anything from VRKIWI because their software clearly hasn't been through basic QA, and be careful on the nintendo eshop because they clearly make no effort at all to vet what they sell and they will make no effort to make it right when they sell you something that is simply non-functional. »
