Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2
Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2, développé par Omega Force et édité par Koei, est sorti le 23 mars 2006 sur PlayStation Portable. Ce titre mêle tactique et hack 'n' slash et propose pour la première fois un combat multijoueur jusqu'à quatre participants, incluant un mode Battle Royal. Les joueurs peuvent débloquer jusqu'à 300 officiers, échanger ces derniers sans fil, gérer jusqu'à huit montures et parcourir plus de 50 stages et 31 cartes, avec les 48 guerriers de la série et des chemins narratifs propres à chaque royaume. Plusieurs modes de jeu sont disponibles, parmi lesquels Musou, Multijoueur, Free et Camp, et l'écran large de la PSP offre une vue d'ensemble du champ de bataille. La presse a salué le fait que le jeu apporte suffisamment d'améliorations pour être plus fluide et légèrement plus agréable que son prédécesseur, tandis que certains joueurs estiment qu'il s'agit de l'un des meilleurs opus de la série au niveau du style des personnages et de la solidité des officiers, même si d'autres regrettent qu'il soit bon sans être excellent comparé aux versions sur consoles de salon. Le temps de completion de l'histoire principale est indiqué à deux heures.

« Dynasty Warriors Vol.2 is good, but it's not great. Sure, it's better than the first installment on the PSP, but it isn't as good as the DWs you would see on the consoles. If you are a hard-core fan of the DWs series, then this is a game you will really benefit from. If you are new to the DW experience, it's best you stay away. »
